These rooms have a sliding door which gets automatically opened when player is near it, and gets closed when mplayer moves away from it. We load two kinds of MD2 Models into our Game Wolrd that acts as Sod and Ogro monsters.
Game plot : You've been trapped inside a monster house. You got to kill all the Sod Monsters of Level 1 and get into Level 2. The Level 2 brings you to attack with Ogro Monsters. Kill them all! Game Over!
Our project is implemented in C++/OpenGL C++ takes care of the backend part OpenGL takes care of the frontend part
Final Year Project : Operating Systems to Exploit multicore/manycore chips to fullest via Deterministic Parallelism: Executing deterministically offers many benefits for debugging, fault tolerance and security. But the Current methods of executing parallel programs deterministically, however, often incurs high costs, allow misbehaved software to defeat repeatability, and transform time-dependent races into input- or path-dependent races without eliminating them.
We introduce a new parallel programming model addressing these issues, via our Operating System “MOS”, to demonstrate the model’s practicality. It consists of a microkernel and a set of user-space runtime libraries and applications. The microkernel provides a minimal API and execution environment, supporting a hierarchy of “shared-nothing” address spaces that can execute in parallel, but enforcing the guarantee that these spaces evolve and interact deterministically. Atop this minimal environment, MOS's user-space runtime library uses distributed systems techniques to emulate familiar shared-state abstractions such as Unix processes, global file systems, and shared memory multithreading.
This model avoids the introduction of read/write data races, and converts write/write races into reliably-detected conflicts.
