ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Faultfinding and rectification Of ZTE BTS and Intracom Microwave Links.
- Expansion of BTS.
- Power ON the BTS and check the status of all TRX

- Working in close coordination with the switch engineer.
- Routing the E1 paths for BTS from BSC for all Cell Sites.
- Commissioning and maintenance of BTS and Microwave links.

RF Survey : Site Surveys for both in city and new town requires personal on field visit to low or no coverage area, and performing a survey of it and proposing a site to improve coverage.
This whole activity includes
(a) Identify the coverage whole or problematic area.
(b) Locate a search ring as per above details.
(c) Provide all RF details as Antenna Orientation, Height of the GSM antenna, and Type of antenna.
(d) Deciding Site Antenna specification for new sites.
(e) Make the Survey Report as per customer requirement and submit it to customer.

- Coverage Priority & Antenna Placement Proposal

- Generation and submission of LOS Survey reports.

RF Survey : Electromagnetic radiation is energy in waves (like visible light), emitted from a source. The energy is both electrical and magnetic. The waves alternate rapidly, from positive to negative in electrical terms, and from North to South pole in magnetic terms.Electricity and magnetism are very closely related in nature. For example, when an alternating magnetic wave penetrates a body (including yours!) an alternating electric current will flow inside that body.
