4 X 300 MW Thermal power plant of SEC China BTG Package. Plant is located in Jaigad, Dist : Ratnagiri (Maharatra). All four units are in various stages of Erection and Commissioning and First unit completed successfully.
DESIGNATION : JUNIOR PROJECT ENGINEER
(Erection of pressure parts &piping)
Key responsibilities
a) Being a, junior project engineer regular communication with contractor for planning, progress and accelerate the job.
b) Provide Work area and front as per system requirement.
c) Planning of individual activities and fronts of schedule with respect to Target dates as approved by Management of projects and arrange the meetings with contractor for implementation and execution to meet the target dates.
d) Monitoring of all pressure parts and non-pressure parts erection as per drawings. Piping erection like; Critical piping, Fuel oil Piping, Coal piping and LP piping as well as rotary and Static equipments.
e) Provide guide-line to contractor to arrange the material at site by making communication with concerned persons.
f) Supervise and execute the job at site as per planned schedule of project and review the progress by conducting of weekly meetings with contractor.
g) Check all the Field Quality plan, alignment and welding to produce the quality job.
h) Record and maintain all the data and Protocols.
i) Supervision and Arrangement for Boiler Drainable and Non-drainable Hydro Test.
j) Maintain the records and inspection documents as per requirements of quality system and SEC personals.
k) Co-coordinating with various agencies i.e. manufacturer, consultant, vendors and contractor for resolution of drawing issues/ site constraints.
2. FROM MARCH TO JUNE 2009 IN CD-NAIR ERECTORS
DESIGNATION : SITE SUPERVISOR
Key Responsibilities
1. Execution of all pressure parts and non-pressure parts erection as per drawings. Piping erection like; Critical piping, Fuel oil Piping, Coal piping and LP piping
2. Experience in managing Welding Inspection of welding, fit up of boiler pressure parts, alignment of boiler pressure parts, and maintaining of related documents
3. Well arrangement of manpower as per the requirement
4. Proven abilities in executing projects within the statutory norms & the given deadlines.
5. Visual Inspection and reporting of piping weld joints for materials like CS, SS, Alloy Steel
