Position Purpose Operation of the Rajasthan wells, production, utilities and pipeline facilities to achieve top quartile performance in safety, productivity and cost. Provide guidance and support to junior staff.

Position Requirements Contribute to the planning of work programmes to maximise overall efficiency; and to assist other members of the team as required to carry out the planned work programmes.

Work Site Activity
Operate the facilities during normal operation as well as planned shutdown, start-up and emergency modes using internationally accepted standards and Cairn India procedures and guidelines

Personal/Team Performance Measurement and ImprovementDevelop self and team in line with set criteria and standards using Cairn India performance measurement and improvement tools and guidelines.

Communication and Information
Support the facilities Communications Guidelines and provide quality information concerning all aspects of work and equipment status to supervisor and colleagues using existing reporting protocol.

Emergency Response
The post holder will be expected to perform Emergency Response duties as defined in the ERP and company standards.

Scope
Operation of their designated areas of the plant, monitoring & control systems, and the mentoring and training of Junior staff in their relevant discipline.

Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Chemical, Petroleum or Scientific discipline and a minimum of 5 years experience within the offshore or onshore production field. Well developed fault finding capabilities. Good communication and organisation skills. Working knowledge of control room equipment. Awareness and commitment to Cairn India environmental expectations.

Has sufficient technical understanding of assigned facilities to be able to make informed decisions that ensure Cairn India priorities are met and maintained. Able to recognise risks, hazards, losses and prevent conflicts between activities.

Title : Manufacture Of Vinyl Chloride by Direct Chlorination and Oxy- chlorination of Ethylene.

Description :
Vinyl Chloride (VC) can be manufactured in many different Processes. In our Project we have dealt the Process of manufacture of VC by Oxy-chlorination of ethylene. Oxy-chlorination of ethylene is the reaction of ethylene with a mixture of O2 and Hcl to effect the chlorination of ethylene dichloride (EDC) in the presence of CuCl2 catalyst. This process enables the manufacturer to cut down the cost of production without the problem of Hcl disposal.
VC monomer is an intermediate stage in the manufacture of PVC, which is finding its use in large number of applications.

Responsibilities :
- Responsible for producing programs for well tests and bottom hole studies
- Responsible for documentation of reports post operation with reference to reviewing
Performance against plan, capturing lessons learned and developing solutions to problems to improve performance
- Responsible of analyzing Artificial Lift Performance using the analysis software Total Well Management (TWM) by ECHOMETER, making recommendations about the performance improvement as well as identifying wells for their reactivation or work over.
- Create & maintain a well performance database & Monitor daily production data from the asset.
- Carry out Bottom Hole Studies for acquisition, analysis and interpretation of the bottom hole data like BHP, BHT, Gradient Survey or Build-up, Draw down & multi rate analysis by using Electronic Memory tool QMS 2200 (GRC).
- Operations & Maintenance of surface production installations : 2 phase separators, heater Treaters, Chemical dosing facility, Bath Heater, Effluent water treatment system etc.
- Well Maintenance : Hot oil and water circulation with solvents for removal of wax and scale problems from downhole Sucker Rod Pumps, Compressor application for well activation.
