Experience Required: At least 5 years technical experience on business solution architect role with at least 2 years in EA strategy definition & Optimization. Past engagement experience as a Consultant from reputed Consulting firm/division, Business Analyst role under SCM domain of operation is absolutely must.

Educational Qualifications: Graduate in any Discipline + MBA (preferred with SCM background)

Major Role:
1) Solution Architect
• Develop a business architecture strategy for the business unit based on a situational awareness of various business scenarios with relation to SCM (Warehouse, Distribution, Freight, logistics & Custom operation) operation and motivations.
• Apply a structured business architecture approach and methodology for capturing the key views of the business unit in the context of optimizing SCM (end to end) operation.
• Capture the tactical and strategic business goals that provide traceability through the organization and are mapped to metrics that provide ongoing governance.
• Define the data elements shared between various AIL business unit and other units in the enterprise and the relationships between those data elements and processes, people, systems, and other data elements.
2) Business / System requirement study
• Consult with management to ensure agreement on system principles.
• Coordinate and link the computer systems within an organization to increase compatibility and so information can be shared.
• Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements.
3) Project Management & Man Management
• Assign and review the work of systems analysts, and other computer-related workers.
• Develop and interpret organizational goals, policies, and procedures.
• Develop computer information resources, providing for data security and control, strategic computing, and disaster recovery
• Taking people along towards goals and objectives of the organization
• Leading by example, both in terms of knowledge, ethics as well as hard work
4) Vendor Management
• Vendor discussion and engagement to support Capital Approval Committee initiatives.
• Due diligence, pricing and budgeting
• Support ROI calculation built for projects etc.
• Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements.
