Job Description
1. Supervisory Activities - 30% The tasks include and not limit to :
• Provide leadership in developing software/applications based solutions to increase Division’s Web presence in the respective market
• Facilitate communications and presentation to the Management team with an in-depth analysis of solution alternatives, efforts and cost estimates, risks and resource requirements
• Manage, lead and monitor diverse, multi-cultural and remote resources to execute various development and maintenance activities
• Manage non-web related activities and resources like content management, content conversions and content development
• Manage Oracle apps development activities and resources in conjunction with iStore development and maintenance
• Proactively communicate with peers and management on a regular basis to report progress, escalate issues and manage risks
• Coordinate istore related efforts with marketing, media developers, oracle apps technical resources, network support and consultants
• Interact seamlessly with the corporate entities to resolve issues, request computing resources and manage escalations

2. Development activities : - 30% The tasks include and not limit to :
• Develop sections, add products and media, flashes and banners
• Develop custom java programs on Oracle iStore using existing java classes to add new functionalities
• Develop management reports on Oracle iStore
• Develop conversion programs to mass change catalogs
• Lead /assist with testing of developed solutions to verify that they address business requirements and that they function correctly.
• Provide MD70 and other related documentations for enhancements (pages, reports, interfaces etc.)
• The incumbent may be required to travel within the region to facilitate implementation projects.

3. Maintenance Activities - 40% The tasks include and not limit to :
• Maintain current iStore website with respect to Sections, Products, media, search criterion, attribute search mechanism, Banners and flashes
• Maintain developed Java programs with respect to store navigation
• Maintain mass change of product attributes and media
• Add new sections, products and media to the istore
• Maintain Item categories and catalogs and its integration with iStore
• Maintain Sales Order entry (B2B custom JSP and Shopping Cart functionality), pricing and Order tracking functionalities
• Manage member registration process
• Manage flat files and spreadsheet as a data input and migrate the same to mass update Oracle Apps data
• Maintain custom APIs with 3rd party web sites
• Migrate code, media and data files through PVCS and Kintana software configuration tools
• Interact with Help Desk personnel to resolve tickets for Oracle Application Systems
• Log, support and manage Oracle Technical Assistance Requests (TAR) to drive to closure incidents and problems with application functionality.
• Facilitate incident and problem management for non-Oracle Application related problems.
• Triage incidents providing timely resolution of application issues as well as problem resolution. This may include the use of SQL queries or other tools.
• Develop/Maintain Emerson business and associated process knowledge in order to provide installation specific guidance and direction

Desired Profile :
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related
• More than 4 years of hands on (till recently) experience with Oracle iStore 11.5.10 and beyond.
• In-Depth knowledge of Oracle iStore with more than 2-3 iStore implementation experience
• Experience in Storefront Design, integration with Inventory/Order Management/Receivables and iStore Module Configurations.
• Leadership experience in managing and leading projects and support activities, access business requirements, create and manage project plans
• Strong understanding/configuration knowledge of Oracle Apps in the areas of Inventory and Order Management
• Strengths in Oracle based Web development: (HTML, Java, J2EE, Java Servlets, JSP, EJB, JDBC, Swing, JavaScript, ASP, PHP, Perl). Knowledge of PLSQL language.
• Experience in iStore administration duties
• Strong understanding of Oracle Items (attributes, categories, catalogs, flexfields etc), Customer master, Sales Order data structures
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle APIs, iStore Java Classes
• Knowledge of Photoshop or equivalent
• Knowledge on Sun Unix
• Good English language written and verbal communication skills
