1. Work is started by verifying the requirement from stores by two ways
i.e. by manually or by SAP, then checking the previous vendors from relinquishment record.
2. After receiving indent, enquiry order has to be sanctioned by various heads based on value of requisition.
3. Now the bidding process starts on the basis of
1. Ernest money deposit 2. Complete technical and price bid.
4. Vendors are qualified on basis of their credentials, previous supplies made to company, etc.
5. Now bids are opened, first technical qualification is checked if it is fit to requirement then only price bid gets opened.
6. The quotation comparison statement is made on the basis of minimal cost is extracted for each individual product and then opportunity cost for other product is calculated to find deserving vendor.
7. Sometimes e-Reverse auction process also gets done for the tender value is comparatively high or the quantity is in bulk.
