Job Description:

5+ years experience – preferably in coding of multiple specialties
At least 3+ years experience in managing teams including day to day operations, process flow and quality
Span of control – 3 to 4 members
Self motivated with excellent and written communication skills, ability to solve problems and make decisions using available data
Science graduates/ post graduates/ Doctors preferred
Must be CPC/CCS certified
Competency to coordinate with Clients, and managing at
least 4 team leaders & meeting Client SLA's.

Identification and resolution of data discrepancies
DCF creation and updates
Review of data listings
Coding review
Coding training
MedDRA coding of Adverse events, Medical History, Surgical history, Procedures, Hospitalization, Death and non-pharmacological treatments forms.
Responsibilities undertaken
- Performing medical coding of Case Report form (CRF terms) with minimal supervision using specified dictionary, Thesaurus and coding conventions to ensure coding integrity and consistency within the clinical database for specified projects.
- To gain familiarity in identifying and applying appropriate codes from specific dictionaries to case report form(CRF) terms that requires manual coding(e.g. adverse events, medications/ procedures, and medical conditions/history)
- To gain familiarity in accurately and consistency apply coding conventions to Case report form terms in accordance with all applicable procedures.
- To learn to generate data queries where applicable to resolve coding discrepancies.
- To learn and maintain coding documentation within project files as appropriate
- Assigning more appropriate and perfect coding of the verbatim recorded in the database in case report forms.
- High quality of codes assigned and also the productivity.
Technical skills : Proficient in Windows XP and Microsoft office, good typing skills
