    DESCRIPTION : Laminated composite panels with T, I, U and HAT stiffeners with riveted joints are modeled with CATIA. The modeled composite panels are then analyzed with ANSYS to find stiffness and buckling behavior independence on skin and stiffener lay-ups. After getting the stiffness and buckling load factor values calculations are done for laminated composite panels with four types of stiffeners. Then by comparing the values finding out the best stiffener among the four.

    This job involves design, assembly and installation for almost all Cessna Business Jets Interior parts, components and Monuments for Sustaining, Advanced Design and Special Engineering Request groups.

    Responsibilities :
    This job includes working for Interiors for all Cessna jets.
    (Jets like CJ2, CJ3,CJ4, Mustang,M-2 etc and Single Engines like
    Cessna 206, 208 etc)
    Constantly working and supporting Interiors-Sustaining, Interiors-Advanced Design & Interiors-Special Engineering Request Groups.
    Work packages will be given in the form of CR or ECR. If its assigned as CR, then it has to investigated and Dispositioned at first to get the ECR to work on it.
    Work packages will be either in Catia Flat File format or 3D COM format and has to work accordingly.
    Part list Data management will be done by a software used by Cessna called PIOS (Production and Inventory Optimization System)
    Once the work is done, it will be routed for the Wichita counter parts for review and release.

    Responsibilities :
    Client provided the basic dimensions for the components to be built initially.
    Also provided the document which suggested various factors and standards which needs to be taken care while designing.
    The entire structure had to be built referring to various documents providing the standards for the Panel/cabinet length, breadth, height etc and also the Drawer standards.
    Lot modifications were required and incorporated from what was initially suggested as requested by the Clients.
    Once the structure was done, Client requested to perform the installation for the same providing the FS/WL/BL values.
    This resulted in further modification of design so as to match with the surrounding parts as well as the contour of the fuselage.
    2D drawings had to be created for assemblies and installation.

    TO STUDY THE USEFULLNESS OF THE PLASTIC ZONE IN FRACTURE MECHANICS FOR REAL MATERIALS (FRACTURE MECHANICS)
    Description My project was based on studying the FRACTURE MECHASNISM in REAL materials.
    For this we have taken COPPER and BRASS for studying. We first standardized both the CU and BR specimens for a certain value of length and finished it properly in WORKSHOP and then we sent those specimens to the laboratory for testing under UTM machine and the results of those were taken as an input into the software ABACUS and we studied the formation of the plastic zone and the usefulness of it for the different values of a/w (a-crack length, w-width) like for 0.4,0.5,0.6,0.7 for the different specimens of Cu and Br namely for SENT,CT and SENB specimens and we related our study to the already set results of some famous scientists and we also co-related our results with the study of IF STEEL which was initially taken for the test and got certified.

    Role Giving the specimens (namely : Cu & Br) for testing under UTM for laboratory & taking the results of the lab as an input into the software ABACUS and studying the fracture mechanism in different specimens of Cu & Br like SENT,CT & SENB specimens for different values of a/w (a-crack length, w-width) i.e, for 0.4,0.5,0.6&0.7 and I was the TEAM LEADER

    FINAL YEAR PROJECT :
    THRUST FORCE ANALYSIS OF SPIKE BELL NOZLLE

    The project mainly focuses on design of various types of nozzles such as aerospike,
    truncated aerospike and spike bell nozzles and to compare the thrust value of the nozzles. In theoretical approach, the efficiency of rocket nozzles is calculated with design parameters such as throat area, exit area, chamber pressure and so on. From theoretical point of view it is seen that the spike bell nozzle has an increased value of thrust when compared to other two nozzle types used in this work. In order to get the flow characteristics such as pressure, temperature and velocity of the spike bell nozzle, flow analysis has to be carried out. Here the models were designed using ProE software, Meshing and Internal flow analysis were carried out using ANSYS CFX 13.0 software. From the simulation results it is observed that the exit mach number of the spike bell nozzle comes close to the theoretical exit design mach number.

    1) Our Final Year Project named “Thrust Force Analysis Of Spike Bell Nozzle” has published as Journal in IJARME(International Journal of Applied Research in
