Experience Summery :
1. I have been with TCS for last 6 months and have extensively worked on CAE project for M.E thesis under the team of cylinder head and block. During this I have worked on different kind of meshing like Shell, Solid meshing using HyperMesh9.0 & SimLab and I have worked on Nonlinear structural Analysis using Abaqus 6.6-4.

2. I have worked for GTN Exports Engineering Division located in Coimbatore for one year and two months . During this engagement I was involved in the CAD modeling and CNC programming using Unigraphics Nx2 and Master Cam 9.0 for petroleum valve components.

3. I have worked for Randass Technology Pvt. Ltd located in Coimbatore for eight months. During this I was involved in CAD modeling using Catia v5 r17

Project -1 (M.E thesis - Projects done in TCS-GM Bangalore)
Title: Analyze and prediction of cylinder bore distortion during actual engine assembly
Objective: To measure and minimize the cylinder bore distortion caused by assembly load
Client - General motors (USA)
Description: Minimization of bore distortion is important because this may allows optimized piston ring design these will also leads to reduce blow-by-gas and improve the oil economy,. To evaluate cylinder bore distortions after assemble of head, bedplate, gasket and peripheral components to block, FE analysis is carried out and distortion graphs are plotted through GM software. To validate the measured bore distortion, I developed the excel sheet with the aid of Fourier series.

Recommendation given: Add the stiffener to engine block near the coolant region these will reduce the cylinder bore distortion in assembly condition

Tool used: Hypermesh , Abaqus, Hyperview and Simlab

PROJECT -2 (Done in Randass technology coimbatore)
Title - Design of Pulvariser.

Description: Aim of this project is to achieve roughing fine particle of fronds. First, 3D models of existing pulverizer were generated and using top down approach in catia v5 suitable frame structure and rotating disc with other accessories were designed.
Title - Design of Husk Buster Machine.

Description: Aim of this project is to achieve cutting coconut husk and fronds fibre. First, make crucial models of the machine components and assembled together with them, and using Bottom down approach in catia v5 suitable frame structure and its accessories were designed.
