Job Description

Responsibilities :
# Capable of the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of customer web sites.
# Assist in coordination of web projects and provide guidance to web development team members.
# Responsible for coordination of all division web projects.
# Responsible for accepting design and content of official site web projects.
# Provide oversight of hardware activities related to site webs, and web related issues.
# Coordinate research, testing, and implementation of new web techniques.
# Act as technical expert.
# Design and build web pages using a variety of graphic software applications, and tools.
# To make sure that the site is fresh and current and that old information is either deleted or archived for members to see it if they wish.
# To liaise with all respective departments so that the latest pertinent information is put up on the WebPages in a timely and useful manner.
# Maintain, optimize, update and change page(s) constantly.
# Configure network security so that web pages are served only to the intended audience.
# Performs related work as required.

Skills Required :
# Considerable knowledge of the World Wide Web as a system and of the principles and practices of good web site design from both server and client perspectives.
# Considerable knowledge of, and ability to develop, web site architecture and applications using Hypertext Markup Language.
# Considerable knowledge of TCP/IP, systems administration, CGI gateways, security/firewalls, databases, and database linking.
# Knowledge of relevant hardware, software applications, and techniques used in web site design, development, and maintenance.
# Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
# Any degree.
# Minimum of two years of experience in internet/intranet site development, implementation, and maintenance.

# Reporting to : Director of Operations.
# Supervises : None.
# Location : Chennai.
# Travel Requirement : Minimal.
