ADVERTISEMENT
Applications are invited from citizens of India as defined in Article 5
 and 6 of the Constitution of India for filling up of the vacant posts of District
 Judge Cadre in Mizoram Judicial Service by direct recruitment from the Bar as per
 Rule 9 & 11 read with Schedule B of the Mizoram Judicial Service Rules, 2006 as
 amended.

 District Judge Cadre : 3 (three)

 1) Must be holder of Degree in Law from a recognized University
 2) Must be practicing as an Advocate in Courts of Civil and Criminal Jurisdiction
 on the last date fixed for receipt of applications and must have so practiced
 for a period of not less than seven years on such date.
 3) Must possess knowledge of Mizo language at least upto Middle School
 standard.

 Must have attained the age of 35 (thirty five years) and must not
 have attained the age of 48 (forty eight) years in the case of candidates belonging
 to Scheduled Tribes and 45 (forty five) years in the case of others, as on the last
 date fixed for receipt of applications.

 Standard form of application may be obtained from the office of the
 undersigned during office hours or by sending a self addressed envelope affixing
 postage stamp of Rs.30/- or may be downloaded from High Court website
 www.ghconline.nic.in and the same duly filled in with attested copies of
 certificates and marks sheets from HSLC Examination onwards and 3 (three)
 copies of recent passport size photographs, etc. should reach the office of the
 undersigned on or before 16th September, 2010. Belated and incomplete
 applications will not be entertained. .

 Applicants will have to appear for necessary written test/interview at their
 own expenses at the time and place(s) to be intimatedlater on.
