    System Administrators (Linux) [Job Code CMSYS-04]

    We are looking for experienced system administrators with experience in 24/7 support of Unix/Linux and Windows servers in the web hosting industry. You will be part of a talented team that is responsible for the ongoing maintenance and support of medium to large web hosting companies.

    Job Description

    • Analyze problems with non-functioning application, identify problem areas and resolve.
    • Use analytical and logical problem-solving skills to resolve issues within stipulated SLA
    • Document all resolved problems

    Desired Profile

    • Strong Linux basics handson experience and understanding of OS concepts
    • Experience in performance tuning
    • Experience in server hardening and security
    • Basic Shell scripting & Perl scripting knowledge
    • Knowledge of implementing Firewalls using IPTables
    • Experience in working with Hosting Automation tools like CPanel, HSphere, Plesk etc.
    • Preference for people with customer support experience
    • RHCE certification is a plus
    • Senior engineers are expected to lead small teams and mentor junior people.
    • Should be comfortable working in Shifts
    • Must be self-motivated and have the ability to utilize online resources to solve problems
