Job Description:
Graduates with 1+ years experience in any specialty (E.R, Radiology & Anesthesia)coding, capable of reviewing medical records and a strong understanding of medical terminology
Ability to convert medical language to numeric codes
An aptitude for abstracting medical records, identifying and assigning appropriate ICD-9 diagnosis codes and CPT codes
HCC coding and / or auditing experience also preferred
Should be flexible to work in shifts
Should be willing to join immediately
CPC/ higher credentials will be an added advantage
Knowledge in coding such as HCPCS and ICD-9-CM for reporting
services and products provided by a health care provider to an insurer of
the recipient.
