TECHNO-COMMERCIAL ENGINEER:
Grad. with 5 yr experience in preparing techno-commercial offers/bids, evaluate tenders; interpret specifications, documentation of commercial terms and conditions including financial tax-implications. He should be converse with cost-computation of different materials and allied services in the field of Furniture manufacturing industry and able to use extensive PC applications in this regard. WORK EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
- June 08-Dec 09 – GMM PFAUDLER LTD. Vallabh Vidyanagar, Gujarat.
GMM had collaborated with Pfaudler Inc., USA. Company engaged in manufacturing of Pharma & chemical process equipments like Glass lined equipments, Agitators, Wipe Film Evaporators, Mixers under various standards as per ASME sec. VIII Div.1 & Div.2 , U-stamp, R-stamp, PED , CE marking. Also involved in to manufacturing of Tailor made equipments like Heat exchangers, columns, storage tanks and approved vendor of EIL, TCE, Jacobs, Lloyds, Chemtex Inc. etc.
Responsibilities as Design Engineer
Prepare all technical documents and cost sheet as under.
- On receipt of clients enquiries, review enquiry documents and applicable specifications.
- Generate enquires and get quotations for all bought out items, which includes forgings, plate material, tubes, fittings, etc.
- Based on this rates and the internal cost of the company generate the rough estimation sheet. Add the margins and create the final estimation.
- Generate the technical proposal documents, including proposal, data sheets, supporting drawings as required using AutoCAD.
Prepare mechanical design of static equipment by including following step.
- After receipt of all the data ,prepare mechanical design based on ASME Sec VIII, Div I & II, TEMA.
- Preparation of Technical Purchase Specification for various materials based on ASME Sec II Part A & B.
- Prepare documents related to ISO such as design development plan, design inputs, design review & verification.
- Releasing Exhibits for the bought out items with technical requirements.
- Doing optimum design taking input from data sheets & specifications.
- Preparing Technical Delivery condition to client for their approval.
- Checking the drawings based on design which includes Design data, General Notes, Material standard, Bill of Material, UG-22 loading for U-Stamp, Foundation data, WRC-107, Hold points, Dimensions, Tolerances, Weld details etc. rechecking to confirm all comments are incorporated.
- Present the design review to the management.
- On the revision stage take care allcomments/DRNs are incorporated.

Responsibilities as Pressure Vessel Engineer
Visit the customers and present company profile and try to get project details.
- On receipt of project quotation details try to find their requirements like expansion below, Pressure Vessel, Strainers, Dampers and Filter.
- After final detailing review enquiry documents and applicable specifications.
- Doing primary design according to code and find out pressure part thickness.
- After that generate enquires and get quotations for all bought out items, which includes forgings, plate material, fittings, etc.
- Based on this rates and the internal cost of the company generate the rough estimation sheet. Add the margins and create the final estimation.
- Generate the technical proposal documents, including proposal, data sheets, supporting drawings as required using AutoCAD.
- Generate final quotation documents with payment condition, delivery period, Testing documents, warranty condition, Late delivery condition etc.
- During this process continuous touch with customer.
- Attending final discussion meeting about technical and general.

1) Reactor often facing cyclic loading due to agitator mounting ,Done fatigue analysis of Reactor and F.E.A of Reactor with support Ring with help Ansys 10(Work bench).
2) Complete Training of NASTRAN PATRAN in Indo-German Tool Room which held by ISRO Scientist. NASTRAN PATRAN is basically analysis software mostly used by Space Engineering.
PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN AT GMM PFAUDLER LTD FOR DISSERTATION
Title: Design of Shell and Tube Type Heat Exchanger.
Brief: There are many Codes/Standard for Design of Pressure vessel and Heat Exchanger
like ASME,TEMA,AD 2000,PD 5500, all having different fundamentals to design. In
Dissertation I worked on the comparison of Code/Standard
Achievement: By means of Design & Analysis find out most appropriate standard for
design Tubesheet which main part of Heat Exchanger
Tools Used: PV-eLITE, Compress, Ansys, Math-Cad, Auto-Cad
