Buyers/Procurement/Sourcing Specialist

Position : Engineers/Senior Engineers

Qualification : B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical/Electronics)

Position Summary :
Identifying and developing alternate vendor source (Electronics components mainly) for achieving cost effective purchases of raw materials and out sourcing requirements.

Settlement of commercial issues like pricing, payment terms, material liabilities, cost recoveries with the suppliers. Effective management of large supplier database.Assessment of the performance of vendors based on criteria such as percentage for rejections, quality improvement rate, timely delivery & credit terms, implementing and monitoring effective procurement schedules along with finalizing the specifications of the materials and establishing the quality & quantity limits.Expertise in dealings with the global suppliers, partnerships/strategic agreements with suppliers. Long term price agreements with the suppliers, VMI.Experience (5-8 years) in Large Telecom / Consumer Electronics Industry will be preferred.Excellent negotiation skills.Should have excellent communication skills.Should be a good team player with mobility.Should belief in organized way of working & able to handle pressure.
