Applications are invited for filling up the following posts at this Institute on
Deputation/Direct Recruitment basis with the following prescribed criteria:-

1. Finance & Chief Accounts Officer : (Pay-band of Rs.15600-
39100 with Grade Pay Rs.6600)
Essential Eligibility Criteria:- Officers from any of the Central
Organized Accounts Services holding an analogous post or a
post in the pay scale of Rs.8000-275-13500 (pre-revised) with 5
years regular service in the grade OR Audit / Accounts
Officers from any of the Central Organized Accounts
Departments with 7 years’ regular service in the scale of
Rs7450-225-11500 (pre-revised) or equivalent. In the event of
suitable officers from the Central Government being not
available, similar officers in the Finance / Accounts
Departments of the Central Statutory / Autonomous Bodies or
Public Sector Undertakings shall be considered. (Period of
deputation shall ordinarily not exceed 3 years).

2. Administrative Officer : (Pay-band of Rs.15600-39100 with
Grade Pay Rs.5400)
Essential Eligibility Criteria:- Officers under the Central Govt.
U.T. Administrations of Central Statutory/Autonomous Bodies
holding analogous posts OR with at least 3/5 years of service in
posts in the pay scale of Rs.2000-3500/2000-3200 (revised to
Rs.6500-10500) OR equivalent respectively and having a degree
and experience in administration and establishment matters and
also preferably in Accounts matters. Officers possessing MBA
or PG Diploma in Personnel Management shall be given
preference. (Period of deputation shall ordinarily not exceed 3
years).

3. Child Psychologist:- (Pay-band of Rs.15600-39100 with Grade
Pay Rs.5400)
Essential Eligibility Criteria:- M.A. with specialized training /
Ph. D. in psychology / or any other equivalent qualification.
35 years 01 (UR)
4. Programmer:- (Pay-band of Rs.9300-34800 with Grade Pay
Rs.4600)
Essential Eligibility Criteria:- B.E./B. Tech. (computer
Science/Computer Engineering) or Post Graduation in Science
/ Maths etc. or post graduation in Computer Application.
30 years 02 (UR)

5. Yoga Instructor:- (Pay-band of Rs.9300-34800 with Grade Pay
Rs.4600)
Essential Eligibility Criteria:- (i) Graduate from a recognized
University (ii) Diploma in yoga from a recognized Institution by
the Government (iii) Ten years’ experience of teaching and
training of yoga in a recognized Institution.
Desirable: Experience of yoga in Orthopedics would be
desirable.
40 years 01 (UR)

6. Biochemist:- (Pay-band of Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay
Rs.5400)
Essential Eligibility Criteria:- (i) a good Master’s Degree in
Biochemistry or in Chemistry with Biochemistry as a special
subject of a recognized university (ii) Three years research or
practical experience in Biochemistry or Pathological Laboratory
preferably of a Medical College or Hospital.
30 years 01 (UR)

7. Operation Theatre Assistant: (Pay band Rs. 5200-20200 +
Grade Pay of Rs.2800/-)
Essential Eligibility Criteria:- (A) B.Sc. or 10+2 with Science
with five years experience in the following areas : (i) O.T. (ii)
ICU (iii) CSSD (iv) Manifold Room
Preference will be given to candidates with certificate / diploma
course in O.T. Techniques from recognized Hospital /
Institutions.
(B) work experience shall be considered, if candidate has
worked in private or public sector / hospital of atleast 500 beds.
30 years 166 (UR-83, SC- 25, ST-13 & OBC-45)

8. Ophthalmic Technician Grade-I : (Pay Band of Rs. 9300-34800
+ Grade Pay of Rs.4200/-)
Essential Eligibility Criteria:- B.Sc. in Ophthalmic Techniques
or equivalent from a recognized university/institution.
30 years 10 (UR-06, SC-01 & OBC-02)

9. Assistant Dietician: - (Pay band of Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay
of Rs.4200/-)
Essential Eligibility Criteria:- (i) M.Sc. (Food & Nutrition) from
a recognized University / Institution (ii) 2 years experience in
the line/preferably in a large teaching hospital.
35 years 02 (01-SC & 01-ST)

10. Dental Technician Grade-II : (Pay Band of Rs. 5200-20200 +
Grade Pay of Rs.2400/-)
Essential Eligibility Criteria:-
i) Matriculation or equivalent from a recognised University/Board.
(ii) Diploma/Certificate from a recognized Institute in (a) Dental
Hygiene; or (b) Dental Mechanic;
(iii) Registered as Dental Hygienist/Dental Mechanic with Dental
Council.
Desirable: Experience in a Dental Department of a Hospital for one
year.
30 years 08 (UR-06, ST- 01 & OBC-01)

11) Assistant Security Officer : (Pay Band of Rs.9300-34800 +
Grade Pay of Rs.4200/-)
Essential Eligibility Criteria:-
i. Degree of a recognized university or equivalent; and
ii. Following Physical Standards:-
iii. Height: 170 cms. Minimum (relaxable by 5 cms only
for residents of hill areas)
iv. Chest: 81 cms (85 cms after expansion) (relaxable for
5 cms only for residents of hill areas)
v. Should possess sound health free from
defect/deformity/disease. Vision in both eyes
should be 6/12 (without glasses). There should be
no colour blindness. (candidates claiming relaxation
in height and chest will have to produce the
certificate to this effect from the competent authority
viz., Deputy Commissioner/District
Magistrates/Tehsildars of their places of residence).
vi. Experience for at least 5 years in Deeping security
preferably in the hospital/medical institution of
repute.
Desirable: Armed Forces personnel of the rank of Subader or
Inspectors of Police Civil /Para Military Forces.
35 years 03 (UR-02 & SC-01)

12) Librarian Grade-III:- (Pay Band of Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay
of Rs.4200/-)
Essential Eligibility Criteria:-
1. B.Sc. Degree or equivalent from a recognized
University and
2. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Library Science
from a recognized University or Institute.
Desirable: (a) Two years experience or acquisition of books,
periodicals and documentation work in preferably, a medical
library of standing repute; (b) Typing speed of 30 words per
minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi.

* The number of posts is tentative and is liable to change based on the Institute’s requirements, at any point of time.

GENERAL CONDITIONS
Only For Sr. No. 01 and 02 : The interested officers who fulfill the above qualifications / eligibility
criteria may submit their application through proper channel to the Director, All India Institute of
Medical Sciences, Ansari Nagar, New Delhi-110608. The envelope containing the application(s)
should be superscribed “Application for the Post of _________ on Deputation basis”. While forwarding
the applications, the authorized forwarding authority may ensure that:- 1. The officer whose
application is being forwarded fulfills the prescribed eligibility conditions; 2. The particulars of the
candidate are duly verified; 3. Duly attested photocopies of their Annual Confidential Reports (at
least for the latest 05 years) are enclosed with the application; 4. A certificate to the effect that no
vigilance / disciplinary case is pending or is
contemplated against the officer concerned is enclosed. The application/applications received
without vigilance clearance, ACRs will not be considered.
The deputation will be governed by the standard terms and conditions of deputation provided
under DOP&T O.M. No.2/29/91-Estt.(Pay II) dated 05-01-1994, as amended from time to time. The
deputation will initially be for a period of one year extendable upto 3 years, on year to year basis.

For Sr. No. 3 to 12
1. The application (s) may be sent to the Director, All India Institute of Medical Sciences,
Ansari Nagar, New Delhi-110608. Application must be typed on foolscap in double space
strictly in the proforma. Envelope containing the application must be superscribed in bold
letters as “Applications for the post of ________________” along with the “Category______
(SC/ST/OBC/Gen.)” to which the candidate belongs.
2. The candidate applying in response to this advertisement should satisfy themselves
regarding their eligibility in all respects for the post(s) for which he/she is applying.
3. Incomplete applications will be rejected and applications received after the due date will
not be entertained. If any candidate is found canvassing for his/her selection, he/she will
be disqualified for being called for interview/being selected.
4. Attested Copies for Birth, Caste, Educational/Technical Qualification and Experience
Certificates must be attached with the application.
5. Fees for Sr. No. 3 to 12 :- A Bank Draft in favor of Director AIIMS payable at Delhi/New
Delhi for Rs.500/- (Rs. Five Hundred only) in case of candidate belonging to General and
OBC categories and Rs.100/- (One Hundred only) in case of candidates belonging to
SC/ST. The Physically Handicapped candidates are not required to deposit any fee, as
they are exempted from the same.
6. The separate application form duly completed in all respect may be submitted for the
separate post (s).
7. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates & Government Servants, 3
years for OBC and 10 years for the Physically Handicapped Persons. The upper age limit
shall be determined as on the last date of receipt of applications.
8. The posts carry usual allowances as admissible to Central Government Servants of similar
status stationed at Delhi/New Delhi.
9. The applications are invited in prescribed pro-forma for Sr. No.01 & 02 (Annexure-I) and
Sr. No. 3 to 12 (Annexure-II). The format of application form can also be downloaded from
Institute website i.e. www.aiims.edu. or www.aiims.ac.in under the head ‘Recruitment’.
