(A) Essential qualifications:
(i) Pass in 10+2 or 12th class examination of recognized University/Board of Secondary Education of State/Central Govt. with English as a compulsory subject (excluding Vocational/Professional streams).
(ii) The candidate should have studied Hindi/Regional language as a subject at least up to Matriculation or equivalent level.
(iii) Typing knowledge and computer knowledge is compulsory for all categories of PA.

AGE : 18 to 25 years as on 05-10-2010 (Last date of the receipt of application).
Age relaxation is admissible for 5 years for SC/ST and three years for OBC candidates.
IMPORTANT NOTE : the detail of recruitment methods, eligibility and application forms are available in the prospectus sold through all head post offices and Mukhya Dak Ghars located at all districts of Uttarakhand Circle at the cost of Rs. 25/- (Rupees twenty five only). Original application contained in the prospectus will only be acceptable. Photo copy of original forms or any other type of duplicate application form will not be entertained and will be rejected straightway. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.

LAST DATE : Application form duly completed in all respect must reach latest by 05-10-2010 in concerned office. The application must be sent by Registered Post or Speed Post only. The application sent by ordinary mail/By Hand/Courier or after due date will not be accepted/entertained. Applications received after the due date, incomplete applications and applications not supported by requisite certificates and additional photograph, will be rejected and no correspondence will be entertained.
