Main Purpose of the Job • To conduct root cause analysis of aircraft / components problems which may cause Aircarft groundings and to initiate the remedial actions including the implementation of service bulletins and manufacturer/vendors recommendations.
Key Job Responsibilities:
• To review and action on Engine Modifications / Airworthiness Directives (ADs) as per Regulatory / Company requirements / procedures.
• To coordinate with Vendors / Manufacturers to improve Technical Dispatch Reliability.
• To conducts root cause analysis for aircraft/component problems which may cause aircraft delays, cancellations, substantial expenditures in manpower or materials or interruptions in maintenance operations and initiates the action required to remedy any desirable condition (s) as detected.
• To provide Technical Support as required for all other Departments.
• To ensure that Dependability and Mod. Committee Meetings are conducted as per requirements.
• To develop customized procedures and special criteria for repairs, modifications, inspections, servicing and other maintenance actions, which are not adequately addressed in existing manuals.
