:: Job Description :

* Responsible for the development, maintenance and support of production applications used internally by the firm and by clients. Design and develop new application(s) for internal use. Mentor and guide junior developers.

:: Candidate Profile:

* Prior experience in Ruby on Rails development and deployment is advantageous, but not mandatory.
* Knowledge of AJAX and/or Flex a plus.
* Candidates with strong J2EE experience, who are willing to switch to Ruby on Rails platform will be considered for this position.
* Candidate must have worked through all phases of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and should be eager to learn latest technologies.
* 3-7 years of industry experience.

:: Soft Skills:

* High level of motivation and energy.
* Self starter.
* Initiative – self managed, able to act on own where circumstances dictate.
* Ability to get along and communicate with all levels of the organization.
* Ability to work outside normal working hours as required.
* Excellent communication skills – both written and oral as the job would require directly interacting with senior management.
* The candidate would be an individual contributor; analytical and research oriented so as to seek solutions.
* Good academic credentials – minimum engineering degree from a reputed institute.
