niche for itself as a multi-unit, multi-product organization in the field of professional Electronics.
BEL requires outstanding, experienced Engineering professionals (B.E/ B.Tech or equivalent) in
the domain of COMPUTING PLATFORMS, for the Central D&E group of its BANGALORE
Unit:

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
FIRST CLASS in BE /B.Tech or equivalent (Pass Class for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in
Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Electronics &
Telecommunication!Telecommunication! Communication from AICTE approved
Colleges/recognized Universities. Engineering Degree holders in other disciplines /
specializations need not apply. Freshers and candidates who do not have experience in the
area of Computing Platforms need not apply.

Post Qualification Experience:
For Manager / Dy. Managers
a) Design Skills (Hardware and Embedded Software):
• Experience in handling embedded system design and development.
• Knowledge of Project management tools.
• Should have expertise and should have guided the project team in some of the areas
listed below:
Design and testing of Single Board Computers and Embedded systems.
Knowledge of various processor Architecture (RISC/CISC architecture , Intel ARM,
PowerPC Freescale, Intel and Microchip Microcontroller architecture etc)
RTOS (Vx Works, QNX momentics) and Win CE.Net 5.0,
Digital System Design using FPGA (Altera & Xilinx), DSP (AD & TI) and IP cores
embedded System on Chip (SOC).
Knowledge of interface standards like PCMCIA (PC Card), ExpressCard, PCI, PCle, PCl04
Plus, USB, SPI, CPCI, VME, I2SIIIS, Gigabit Ethernet.
Knowledge of Serial Communication standards RS232/RS422 IRS485 and High Speed
Serial communication protocols like HDLC, DDCMP, PPP.
Knowledge of Electronic circuit design and testing in Digital communication circuits -
Digital Modulation / demodulation circuit design.
b) Areas of Experience (Preferred)
• Circuit design for computational platforms.
• High Speed PCB Design
• Knowledge in Networking Technologies.
For Senior Engineers
a) Design Skills - Hardware and Embedded software (Should be well versed in some of
the following areas):
• Experience in embedded system design and development.
• Knowledge of various processor Architecture (RISC/CISC architecture, Intel
ARM, PowerPC Freescale, Intel and Microchip Microcontroller architecture etc)
• Experience in RTOS (Vx Works, QNX momentics) and Win CE.Net 5.0
• Knowledge of DSP architecture & programming (AD & TI)
• Knowledge of different memory technologies (DDR2/ DDR3 SDRAM, Flash).
• Digital System Design using FPGA (Altera, Xilinx), DSP and IP cores embedded
System on Chip (SOC).
• Conversant with Synthesis tools like Verilog, VHDL.
• Conversant with various simulation tools, emulators.
• Knowledge of interface standards like PCMCIA (PC Card), ExpressCard, PCI,
PCle, PC-l 04 Plus, USB, SPI, CPCI, VME, 12SIIIS, Gigabit Ethernet.
• Knowledge of Serial Communication standards RS232/RS422 /RS485 and High
Speed Serial communication protocols like HDLC, DDCMP, PPP.
• Conventional Modem design and Soft Modem design using DSP, FPGA in
PCMCIA or ExpressCard form factor.
b) Areas of Experience (Preferred)
• Circuit design for computational platforms (Single Board Computers).
• High Speed PCB Design
• Knowledge in Networking Technologies.

RESERVATION / RELAXATION:
Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates will be as per Government directives. Age
relaxation of three years for OBC candidates, five years for SC/ST candidates and five years for
PWD candidates, will be given only if the relevant caste / disability certificate (clearly indicating
percentage of disability) is enclosed. Candidates who belong to OBC should compulsorily enclose
the relevant certificate in Annexure A only.

PAY DETAILS:
In addition to Basic Pay, other allowances like Dearness Allowance, HRA, Performance
Related Pay, Conveyance Allowance, Leave Travel Allowance (LTA), Professional Development
Allowance (PDA), Reimbursement of medical expenses, Children Education Allowance, Attire
Maintenance Allowance, Entertainment Allowance, Interest Free Multi Purpose Advance, Vehicle
loan at subsidized rate of interest, Interest subsidy on housing loan, Group Insurance, PF, Gratuity,
etc as per Company rules will be part of the remuneration package.

MODE OF APPLICATION:
Applications of General I OBC candidates should be accompanied by a crossed Demand
Draft drawn on any Scheduled Bank (preferably State Bank of India) for ~ 500/- (DD of ~ 200/-·
in case of SC/ST/PWD candidates) in favour of Bharat Electronics Limited, Bangalore.
Candidates working in PSUs I Govt. organizations should submit the application through proper
channel or produce No Objection Certificate at the time of the interview.

following documents should compulsorily be enclosed:
i) SSLC/Matriculation Certificate (proof of age)

iii) BE IB.Tech! equivalent Degree certificate, wherein discipline is indicated.
iv) Certificate from the previous employer regarding relevant post qualification experience
v) Caste I Disability certificate (if applicable) and other relevant certificates.

GENERAL:
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview. Such candidates will be
reimbursed to and fro train fare, by the shortest route on production of the railway ticket receipts,
as per Company rules. Candidates for the post of Manager I Dy. Gen. Manager will be eligible for
reimbursement of First Class train fare and candidates for other posts will be eligible for Second

Description
As final year project we develop a scheme that guarantees fast recovery in single failure scenario using a simple mechanism to handle both link and node failures without knowing the root cause of failure. MRC is based on keeping additional routing information in the routers, and allows packet forwarding to continue on an alternative output link immediately after the detection of a failure.
