B.Sc. : I have done a three months project in “Production of biofertilizers using oligotrophic nitrogen-fixing microorganisms”. The work aimed at minimizing the cost of biofertilizers by up to thousand folds. The isolation of suitable organism and optimization of media was done by me.
M.Sc. : One year dissertation work was done on “Oligotyping of antibiotic resistance genes from sixty-five clinical isolates of Acinetobacter spp. isolated from various hospitals in India.” The work concluded by finding out the various classes of beta-lactamase producing genes present in these isolates.
