Job Profile
- As a Safety Supervisor implement company HSE policy in the field and system in compatible with NCP HSE policy which ensure all activities are controlled with appropriate procedure and principle through its own permit to work and certificate system.
- Enforcing and implementing HSE procedure, permit to work system and specification respect to project specific requirement.
- Monitoring all activities in the site and if noticed any noncompliance, correct it immediately by coordination among execution team and report the issue to management to keep their control over work force to avoid its reoccurrence in the site.
- Conducting safety audit, assessments, inspections and submit the report to management for correcting any concern or improving the system by implementing corrective actions and better solutions in the site.
- Ensure all equipments; plants are inspected, certified by third party prior and periodically before its application in the system. To maintain all fire fighting accessories as per the safety requirement, if any noticed defective shall be discarded from the service.

- Monitor and ensure all subcontractors are conducting START talk meeting is conducted each time prior to start of their activity. Coordinate them for the proper and correct use of START card, and other safety documents to ensure all involved are well aware about its application in the system.
- Conduct safety counseling and training to newly inducted workers and employees respect to PPE, emergency procedure, Working at height, scaffolding, confined space entry, heat stress, lifting and rigging and other health hazards and preventions
- Report incidents of injury / emergency & organize training requirements for all workers
- Investigate all incidents and assisting the client to find out the root causes and to develop preventive measures or recommendation
- Conducting Safety Induction Training for new workers prior to their induction to site.

- Conduct inspection on Crane and Scaffoldings and ensure / maintain safety of Crane & heavy equipment operators and workers
- As a Permit Issuer for the project RGX6 / AKG 2, control and implement all requirement and specification respect to CTJV permit system by enforcing the same with all sub contractors involved in the project.
- As a permit coordinator to work along with the construction team and prepare work permit as per the requirement considering all the specific conditions respect to client permit to work system. Address all the issues arising in the system related to work permit to resolve through most expedite manner by observing and implementing specific HSE procedures and coordinating with respective department and discipline.
- Ensure Hazard analysis and Risk assessment are being implemented and related control measures are in place. Giving safety induction to all newly joined employees prior to their introduction to site and ensuring all workers are conversant with the standard procedures associated.
- Audit all Hot Work Permit & Cold Work Permit and Associated Certificates to ensure all precautions and condition are in place prior to commencement of job for their compliance with the HSE Manuel in force. 60 to 75 Hot Work Permits, 20 to 30 Cold work and 20 to 25 Confined Space Entry permits are operating daily in the Ras Gas Expansion Train-6 & 7.
- Ensure all safety precautions are completed and checked prior to routine or non-routine maintenance in the plant. Activities such as welding , crane operation , pipe and structural erection , sand blasting , radiography, pressure testing , shutdown of flow lines prior to decommissioning of existing pipe lines and commissioning of newly erected pipelines etc are been supervised for their full compliance with the standard procedures . Ensure fire fighting system, associated pumps and detectors are working properly by routine checking.
- Also keep all records of induction training given to workers prior to their induction to site and also the check lists for the authorization of equipments and machinery prior to its utilization in site.
