The Gautam Buddha University, established by U.P. Act, is being developed as a University of Excellence to impart postgraduate
 level education in the fields of Management, Information Technology, Biotechnology, Humanities & Social Sciences, Engineering & Applied
 Sciences, Law & Buddhist Studies.
 The University has a fully residential campus spread over 511 acres of lush green area with all modern infrastructures to meet academic and
 extracurricular needs.
 Gautam Buddha University invites applications for various Faculty & Administrative positions in:
School of Engineering - Mechanical Engineering & Electrical Engineering at all levels
School of Architecture & Built Environment - Civil Engineering; Architecture & Regional Planning at all levels
Central Computer Center - Computer Programmer
Buddhist Studies Research Center - At all levels
Qualifications:
Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor : Ph.D. with first class or equivalent in the appropriate branch with a very good
 academic record throughout. An outstanding professional, working in industry with established reputation and having made significant
 contribution to knowledge but not having a Ph.D. degree, could also be considered in exceptional case.
Research Associate : Postgraduate degree in relevant discipline with minimum 55% marks for General/OBC and 50% marks for SC/ST
 Candidates.
Computer Programmer : B. Tech (Computer Science & Engineering)/MCA with I class or equivalent.
Experience:
Professor - Minimum 10 years in Teaching/Research/Industry experience at appropriate level of which at least 3
 years should be at the level of Associate Professor or equivalent and should have good research
 publications. Experience of supervising research is essential.
Associate Professor - Minimum 8 years Teaching/Research/Industry experience at appropriate level of which at least 3
 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent and should also have good research
 publications. Experience of supervising research is desirable.
Assistant Professor - Minimum 03 year Teaching/Research/Industry experience Good research publications are essential.
Research Associate - Minimum 01 year Teaching/Research/Industry experience at appropriate level. Good
 Research publications are desirable.
Computer programmer - Minimum 01 year experience of Computer Programming at appropriate level.
Note: 1. Research Publications must be in National/International Refereed Journals.
 2. Candidates not found suitable for a position may be offered lower position.
 The qualification and experience prescribed above are the minimum and mere possession of the same shall not entitle any candidate
 to be called for interview. The number of post at each level are not fixed as flexible staff structure is adopted in the University.
Pay Scales:
Professor - PB-4(37400-67000 with AGP of Rs. 10500/-PM) Minimum pay in the Pay band-Rs. 48,000 Plus AGP
Associate Professor - PB-4(37400-67000 with AGP of Rs. 9500/-PM) Minimum pay in the Pay band-Rs. 42,800 Plus AGP
Assistant Professor - PB-3(15600-39100 with AGP of Rs. 8000/-PM) Minimum pay in the Pay band-Rs. 30,000 Plus AGP
Research Associate - Rs. 33,000 (consolidated)
Computer programmer - PB-3 (15600-39100) with GP of Rs. 5400/-PM) Minimum pay in the Pay band-Rs. 21,000 Plus GP

 Management from time to time.
