Responsibilities
Create design prototypes, including graphic design, site navigation, and layout of content, for the websites.
Perform maintenance and updates to existing websites when needed.
Design web 2.0 websites.
Required education and experience
Bachelor’s degree and two to four years of experience in web design, of which a minimum of one year producing table-less, XHTML.
Preferably with an undergraduate degree in Visual Communication
Good communication skills.
Attention to detail, creative and problem-solving.
Ability to work in a team and to communicate in a clear way.
Advanced knowledge of XHTML, Prototype /Delicious libraries and of digital imaging and illustration with Adobe Photoshop, Dream weaver, Flash, Shockwave
Knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, PHP and dynamic HTML, experience with Macromedia Flash.
Superior knowledge of current web-design trends and techniques
A strong online portfolio displaying user-centered design, and experience with web database solutions definite assets
