Our client is seeking a talented, self-driven and motivated senior software engineer to join its RTL Synthesis software development team in Hyderabad. The candidate will be responsible for design and development of synthesis features and optimizations in current and next generation software tools. As a senior member of the team, the candidate will also be expect to coach and member new members of the team.
Required :
** BS or MS in CS, EE or CE 2 to 10 years software development experience with background in EDA tools development preferred
** Strong background in computer algorithms and data structures.
** Strong background in C++ programming, STL and Boost.
** Familiarity with parts of the VLSI Implementation or Verification flow.
** Familiarity with Verilog and VHDL.
** Ability to deliver complete projects from specifications to final delivery.
** Experience with production software quality assurance practices, methodologies and procedures.
** Excellent oral and written communication skills.
** Good people skills
** ability to mentor and coach junior members of the team.
Preferred :
** Exposure to one or more of the following areas : RTL Synthesis algorithms, datapath synthesis, timing/area/power optimizations, compilers, technology mapping, static timing analysis.
** Exposure to FPGAs and FPGA software tool chain.
