Title : PeopleSoft HR and Global Payroll Developer
Location : Kuala Lumpur
Description :
We are currently looking to add 8 - 12 new positions to our staff, for a variety of roles. These individual will participate in application development, enhancements, and project work for the PeopleSoft HR and Payroll system.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
** Work with business analysts to confirm the design specifications
** Develop and configure new functionality per agreed upon design specifications
** Define and conduct unit testing and SIT, and perform system tests and validations
** Participate in user acceptance test
** Develop technical documentation for all deliverables
** Develop and maintain project documentation and deliverables as required by software development lifecycle and project
** Assist in go-live of application
** Assist in production support resolution as required
** Assist in project deliverables as required
** Willingness to travel within Southeast Asia

Mandatory Experience :
** Experience in Peoplesoft global payroll 8.8 and 8.9.
** 3 to 7 years experience as a PeopleSoft developer on development projects
** In-depth experience in creating rules and designing the global payroll module
** Minimum of 2 full lifecycle implementations
** Demonstrated proficiency in all phases of PeopleSoft development life cycle, from requirements analysis, systems design, development, testing, deployment and support of PeopleSoft
** Development Tools : People Tools (8.x) (Application designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, Application Messaging, Integration Broker, Data Mover, Component Interface, and File Layouts) and SQL-Plus
** Strong analytical, problem solving, and debugging skills
** Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
** Excellent interpersonal skills; has clear understanding of business procedures; and the ability to work as result oriented team player as well as an individual
** Comprehensive consulting skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the business

Optional Experience : Candidates with this additonal experience are preferred
** Used standard IT methodologies, performed business analysis and documentation.
** Workflow and PeopleSoft Security development experience
** Languages SQL and PL/SQL
** Reporting Tool SQR, PSQuery and Crystal
** Data Bases Oracle 10g (or higher)
** Knowledge of Oracle Database and Application tuning
** Ability to troubleshoot problems and provide quick user response


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE :
** Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from four-year college or university
** At least five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

RENUMERATION : Varies depending on experience = MYR 4,000 to 8,000
