Engineer- Technical Support

Lime Labs LLC, a New York City-based software development & technology company with a sister office in India, is looking for Engineer – Technical Support for its India Office who is self-motivated, enjoys start-up environments, and can take ownership of tasks. This role offers an excellent opportunity for directly interfacing with the customers to resolve technical queries and collaborating with system operations and engineering teams.

Job Location: - Noida, India
Responsibilities :
** Interface with the customers for resolving technical queries related to Domain Name registration and web hosting via Chat, Phone, Email & Online Support e.g. QnA/Forum
** Monitoring of the production infrastructure and escalation to the system operations team in case of any problems
** Troubleshooting of system and infrastructure related issues.
** Troubleshooting of first level escalation related to issues with Application installation, DB setup, file permissions, FTP issues or other DNS and hosting related issues.
** Working in a 24x7 environment in shifts
Qualifications :
** 3-4 years of experience in working as technical support in domain registration and web hosting companies.
** Worked in a team of 8-10 members.
** Good understanding of domain Name registration,Web hosting, Email hosting, DNS etc.
** Worked on one of the Hosting Control Panels like Cpanel, Ensim or Plesk as Administrator preferrably on the provisiong modules.
** Basic knowledge of linux, monitoring systems like Nagios etc.
** Worked with a ticketing system similar to Kayako, LivePerson etc.
** Basic knowledge of Apache/PHP/ Perl etc.
** Call centre or Software company experience
** Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
** B.Tech/BS or equivalent education from a reputed institue in India or abroad
** Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
It would be great if you also have :
** Knowledge of Webserver like Apache IIS.
** A system administrator degree/diploma from a reputed institute.
** Linux installation and troubleshooting.
** Basic knowledge of computer networking.
** Excellent troubleshooting skills.
