NIFTEM is being set up by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Govt. of India. The Institute will cater to the needs of entrepreneurs, industry, exporters, policy makers, the government and the existing institutions.
It is a Rs.500 cr (US $ 125 million) project with a sprawling campus spread across 100 acres located in NCR at Kundli, Sonepat, Haryana. The state of the art campus is equipped with the cutting edge Infrastructure for Research, Academics, Business Incubators, modern Libraries and residential complex for staff and students.
