NOTIFICATION
The Centre on Geo-informatics Application in Rural Development (C-GARD), NIRD,
Hyderabad, invites applications from eligible candidates for the following positions in the Projects
purely on contract basis and co-terminus with the Projects. The educational qualifications and
experience are indicated below:

8 Years of experience in network maintenance out of which 3 years should
be in maintaining network, hardwares, softwares including network administration
preferably in a Research & Training organization. Should have a proven ability
to trouble shoot find quick solutions and be able to install, maintain softwares,
hardwares including A0 Plotter & Scanners, Should be well versed with operations and
maintenance of GPS, DGPS & Total Station.

5 Junior Project Scientist (Hardware & Networking) 1
12,000 Degree with Microsoft Certificate 6 Years of experience in hardware
maintenance & network administration of which two years should be in maintaining
software, hardware including network and A0 scanners & Plotters . Should be well
versed with operations and maintenance of GPS, DGPS & Total Station.

6 Project Dy Manager (Accounts) 1
20,000 Degree in Commerce & Law
Knowledge of Central Government rules particularly TA/GFR/Receipts & Payments
and the maintenance of Project Accounts of Research and Training Institutes for atleast
10-15 yrs is desirable. Preference will be given to retired Central Government
Employees of not less than Asst. Admin Officer/ Asst. Accounts Officer cadre.

7 Asst. Project Manager (Accounts) 1

Any degree 5 - 10 years experience in recruitment / stores and liason with other sections /
department. Knowledge in Central Government rules desirable. Preference will be given to the Central Government
Employees of not less than Asst. Admin Officer/Asst. Accounts Officer cadre.

8 Senior Technical Assistant (Transcription) 1

Degree with PG Diploma in Computer Applications
10 years of experience of which 3 years should be in transcription, good
experience in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word & Access. Should have proven ability
to work with excel using formulas, SQL requests, creating, running & editing Macros. Good command in written English
communication and ability to draft letters.

9 Senior Technical Assistant (Data Conversion & Technical Documentation) 1

PG Degree with PG Diploma in Computer Applications
5 years of experience of which 3 years after PG. Experience should be in data conversion, technical documentation, good
working knowledge in SPSS, use of speech
Recognisation packages and experience in Micro soft Projects/PERT CPM software.
Should be well versed with Microsoft excel, word & Power Point.

10 Scanning Attendant 1
7,000 SSC 2 years of experience in scanning on large format (A0 type scanners), maintenance of
toposheets, maps, dust free maintenance of equipment like Computer hardware, scanners, Plotters, GPS etc.

11 Project Attendant 1
7,000
SSC 10 years of experience in file movement, file recording. Dust free maintenance of
laboratories, Faculty Rooms & Office Room. Preference will be given to physically challenged persons

Title: “ Evaluation of country wide Computerization and Digitization of Land
Records”
The candidates who fulfill the qualifications/experience may submit their CV along with copies by

The tenure of the positions at S.no. 1-11 are for one year initially extendable upto 2 more years after
a comprehensive performance evaluation. In respect of s.no. 12 & 13 the tenure is for six months
only.
The positions at serial numbers 1-5, 12 & 13 are field based and hence the candidates willing to
work in the fields intermittently may only apply. Applicants to the positions at S.no. 12 & 13 should
have thorough knowledge on Research Methodology, designing of instruments & tools for primary
data collection, knowledge of analytical techniques in SPSS. Applicants willing to travel extensively
anywhere in India and having good command in Hindi will only be preferred for positions at S.no. 12
& 13.
Candidates should come prepared for attending the written / trade test and interview at Hyderabad.
The written test / trade test is meant basically to assess the suitability of the candidates. Only those
who fulfill the qualifications / experience indicated above shall be short listed and called for test/
interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the test/interview. Applicants are therefore advised to
make their own arrangements to attend the interview at NIRD, Hyderabad.
