INVITATION OF APPLICATIONS FOR CONTRACTUAL APPOINTMENT IN
ENGINEERING DISCIPLINES
NPCC Ltd., a Premier Public Sector Enterprise and an ISO 9001:2000 Scheduled ‘B’
Company under Ministry of Water Resources , engaged in Engineering Construction,
Planning, Operation and Project Management Consultancy in the fields of Industrial
Infrastructure, Thermal, Hydroelectric, Tunneling, Railways, Highways, Surface Transport,
Townships, Buildings, Dams, Weirs, Barrages, Public Health, Environmental Engineering
and Border Fencing , Flood Lightning, PMGSY Works etc. inviting applications for Civil,
Mechanical & Electrical Engineers for its ongoing projects located all over India
for the positions as specified hereunder:-

1. Site Engineers (Civil/ Mechanical / Electrical)
Graduate Engineer (Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical) with One Year
relevant experience.
Rs.16,000/- to Rs.20,000 p.m. Consolidated.

2. Jr. Engineer (Civil/ Mechanical/Electrical)
Diploma in (Civil/ Mechanical/Electrical)
Engineering with Two Years relevant experience.
Rs.13,000/- to Rs.16,000/- p.m. consolidated


i) The appointment will be made on Contract Basis; initially for a period of
one year; extendable on yearly basis depending upon performance and
requirement of the Corporation.
ii) The consolidated remuneration will be fixed at the minimum for those
having the specified minimum experience and at higher rate
commensurate with more than the minimum experience prescribed,
subject to suitability. Higher start will be allowed to suitable candidates
having M.E., M.Tech. Post Graduation Degree with relevant experience
required by the Corporation.
iii) In addition to the consolidated remuneration other benefits like, GIS, EPF,Medical Reimbursement, Leave, TA/DA, Yearly enhancement of
remuneration as admissible to contractual employees as per Corporation
Rules is also admissible.
iv) The position of Site Engineers / Jr. Engineers is for the specific duration of
projects and will be co-terminus with the expiry of term of appointment or
closer of the project, whichever is earlier, and will not confer any right on
the selected candidates for absorption in the Corporation.
v) Upper limit of age for both the posts is 35 Years as on 01.08.2010, relaxable
upto 5 years for SC / ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.
vi) The prospective candidates fulfilling the requirements may send their
application in the prescribed application format alongwith copies of
educational qualifications including High School Certificate as proof of
the date of birth, experience, SC / ST / OBC Certificate as applicable and
one copy of recent passport size photograph mentioning clearly in the

viii) The Interview will be conducted in the 2nd Week of every Month. Date,
Time and Venue will be intimated to the shortlisted candidates through
Email / Phone. This advt. is valid for next 03 months commencing 25th
August, 2010.
ix) The candidates selected against this advt. may please note that posting will be
at the discretion of the Competent Authority and subject to the requirement and
the incumbents are likely to be posted in anywhere in India.
x) The NPCC Management reserves the right to change any conditions for
selection of the candidates called for interview. The decision of the NPCC
Management shall be final and binding.
xi) Management will have the discretion to reject any or all applications without
assigning any reasons and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
Only short listed candidates will be called for interview.
xii) Candidates already working in NPCC on contract basis in an equal
position is not eligible to apply for the said posts.
xiii) This application format is attached at Annexure-I & can be downloaded

Application should be strictly as per the prescribed format and those not
conforming to the format or without/unclear/ambiguous certificate will be
summarily rejected.
