REQUIRES Engineers & Technical Assistants in Civil Engineering discipline on
contract basis through walk-in-interview
RITES Ltd. a premier consultancy organization is in urgent need of dynamic and hard
working Engineers(Civil) & Technical Assistants(C) for its projects under Regional Project
Office/Kolkata. The appointment shall be purely on contract basis initially for a period of
two years, extendable until completion of the assignment based on satisfactory
performance. The selected candidate is liable to be posted anywhere in India.
Reservations & relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/Ex-Servicemen and Physically handicapped
persons would be provided as per extant Govt. orders.

107/10 Engineer (Civil)
07 30 years 1st class Graduate in Civil Engineering ((2nd class
for SC/ST/OBC) with minimum 02 yrs. of post qualification experience in construction of Buildings/ Roads/ Railway siding/ Civil Engg. projects.

108/10 Technical Assistant (Civil)
09 35 years 1st class Diploma Civil Engineering ((2nd class for SC/ST/OBC) with minimum 02 years of post qualification experience in Civil Construction Supervision. Preference would be given to candidates having work experience in Construction of Buildings, Roads & Railways project.

Candidates fulfilling the above criteria may attend walk in interview, with 1 copy of the
application prepared in the format available on RITES website along with original & an attested
copy of educational and experience certificates with one copy of recent passport size photograph
at the venue given below:

Note: Registration will be from 1000 to 1300 hrs.. If more candidates will be registered the
interviews will continue to be on 28.08.2010.
After preliminary screening of the applications & certificates etc. submitted by the candidates in
person, suitable candidates will be interviewed. Candidates have the option to appear for
interview either in Hindi or English.
Notes:
a) Any kind of training/trainer/ apprenticeship experience shall not be counted towards post
qualification experience.
b) Candidates already working in RITES on contract in an equal position are not eligible to
appear in the walk-in-interview.
c) The applicants should also bring original mark sheets, degree and certificates of
experience (offer letters not acceptable), other testimonials, proof of identity of permanent
address and employer certified last pay slip at the time of interview.
