FABRICATOR :
JOB SUMMARY :
Responsible for set-up, lay-out , and tack-up of various precision steal weldments and brackets. Ability to tack up structures to tight tolerance. Ability to weld out precision steal to exact tolerances. Ability to hold final required cosmetic finish with angle grinders and sanders.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
1. Square up and weld various geometries of components.
2. Understand various weld form symbols on blue prints and understand size of fillet forms.
3. Understand various edge preps before welding.
4. Good understanding of set up techniques.
5. Meets agreed upon goals and objectives in a timely manner.
6. Arrives to work, meetings, appointments, and other work-related functions on time and as scheduled.
7. High knowledge to understand the shop drawings
8. Steel parts assembly according to the drawings
9. Using cutting and grinding machines
10. Using assembly tools (right angle, measurement tape, oxygen acetylene cutting, hand plasma cutting, etc……)

Salary range for all above is Omani Riyal 80 to 110 depending on qualification and experience, plus food and accommodation and overtime. Direct client interview.
