Walk in interview for the post vacant & likely to become vacant on regular basis for
Junior Resident/Senior Resident in Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital, GNCT of Delhi.
Total numbers of Vacancies for the Regular posts of Junior Residents/Senior Residents are as

NOTE :
1. For candidates applying for OBC Category the certificate must be issued by the
Competent Authority of GNCTD.
2. In case of non-availability of SC/ST/OBC candidates the post shall be filled for 89
Days on AD-HOC basis from General Category or vice-versa.
3. The number of vacancies may vary.

ELIGIBILITY :
FOR SENIOR RESIDENT: A recognized Post Graduate Degree from a recognized university,
registered with the Delhi Medical Council & have not completed 03 (three) years Senior
Residency.
FOR JUNIOR RESIDENT: MBBS from recognized university, registered with Delhi Medical
Council, internship completion certificate. Must not have completed 01 (One) year Junior
Residency in any recognized institute. The candidate having completed compulsory rotatory
internship before 31.07.2007 need not apply.

AGE LIMIT :
35 years for Senior Residents as on 01/08/2010
30 years for Junior Resident as on 01/08/2010
05 years Age relaxation for SC/ST & 03 years for OBC candidates(Caste Certificate in r/o OBC
candidates must be issued by the Competent Authority of Govt.of NCT of Delhi only).

EMOLUMENTS :
For S.R. Rs. 15,600-39,100/- plus Grade pay of Rs. 6,600/-Per Months + other allowances as
admissible.
For J.R. Rs. 15,600/- to 39,100/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400/- Per Months + other allowances
as admissible.

CONDITIONS FOR RECRUITMENT :
1. Appointment will be initially for the period of 01 (One) Year extendable upto 03
(Three) Years in case of Senior Residents and 06 (Six) Months extendable upto 01
(One) Year in case of Junior Residents (inclusive his/her period already served
elsewhere).
2. Appointment will be subject to medical fitness and verification of certificate of
Educational Qualification/Age/Caste/DMC registration & internship completion
certificate.

The eligible candidates may submit the applicable format with a bank Draft in favor of
MEDICAL SUPERINTENDENT / DDO, LAL BAHADUR SHASTRI HOSPITAL, DELHI – 110 091 of
Rs. 200/- for unreserved category & Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/OBC category at the time of
interview on 25.08.2010 between 09:00 A.M. to 10 A. M.
