Job Description
Expert in Oracle DBA, PL/SQL and SQL tuning. Database design, DR, Dataware housing and performance tuning Database + Application. Ability to support database, SP for application software development, understands its components, troubleshoot and fix basic problem

To support the production and Development environment for or DBA tuning related activity.
Ensure all the events to be addressed and solved with priority to maintain the SLA.
Manage customer incidents and requests, ensuring the relevant SLA's and support Development team for Backend Activity.
Experience of dealing with customers in Development and production environment.
Demonstrates experience of resolving customer queries and issues and delivering high levels of customer service
To access each problem, request and determine initial course of action, solve it and close the issue.

The role involves supporting the production and development database, Disaster Recovery Management, Performance Tuning and Database Design, Archiving policy. To solve issues and therefore requires the job holder to have sound judgment and problem solving skills. The role holder must have high levels of accuracy in a mission critical system. This is a 24 x 7 basis on call support therefore shift work may be required.
