ACADEMIC PROJECT :
Topic : Design and analysis of Pulse Detonation Chamber with exit rotary valve.
Description : In this project, there is an attempt made to increase detonation pressure in detonation chamber, which increases efficiency of the engine, by introducing exit rotary valve in the chamber. Both current and conceptual pulse detonation chamber are modeled and fuel-air flow analyzed. Then combustion parameters are calculated analytically. Results showed that there is increase in impulse density, detonation pressure in conceptual chamber.
Software used : FLUENT (analyzing), CATIA v5 (modeling)
