Designation : CONSULTANT - RADIATION ONCOLOGY

Job Description:
* To assit HOD in smooth operation of the department.
* To conduct OPD & take care of admitted patients in the ward as per prescribed standard and protocols.
* To ensure safety of patients in wards, prevention of Medication errors, adverse reactions and to take preventive and corrective action as required.
* To carry out clinical audits periodically and to submit audit reports to MS through HOD.
* To train the employees of the department and other paramedical staff in consultation with HOD.
* To make sustained efforts for enhancing standards of care, develop treatment protocol in line with guidelines of National Comprehensive Cancer Network, National Cancer Institute and other reputed bodies.
* To ensure discharge summeries are ready prior to discharge of the patients from the hospital.
* Participate in research projects and to present papers in National/International conferences.
* To publish papers in index journals.

Desired Profile :
Candidate must be MD/DNB (Radiation Oncology / Radiotherapy) having post MD/DNB (RT) experience above 08 years, with work exposure in Linear accelerator having IMRT/IGRT and treatment planning etc, from a reputed institution. Computer Literate, excellent verbal and written communication skills is a must.

About us :
A group of concerned relatives and friends of cancer patients felt the need to provide facilities for cancer prevention, early cancer detection and complete cancer treatment under one roof. They felt is was their dharma (duty) to provide to cancer patients what was not available to their near and dear ones when they suffered with cancer.
They laid the shila (foundation) of their duty by registering a non-government voluntary organization - Dharamshila Cancer Foundation and Research Centre (DCFRC) on 19 April 1990, with the sole objective of providing comprehensive cancer care to the people of India. Dharamshila Hospital and Research Center (DHRC) has been promoted by DCFRC. The first phase of the hospital was commissioned on 1st July 1994 with 100 beds. The hospital has now expanded to 350 beds and is the largest cancer hospital of north India.
Dharamshila hospital is the first and only cancer hospital of India accredited by NABH.
