    NOTIFICATION
    Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for
    recruitment of temporary technical post at DRWA, Bhubaneswar as per
    details given below.
    1. Technical Assistant T-3 (Field / Farm Technician)
    1 Post [Reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC)]
    PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 plus Grade Pay Rs.2800
    Essential
    : Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Science/ Animal Science/ Fisheries Science
    from a recognized university.
    Desirable
    :
    (i) Master Degree in relevant
    subject
    (ii) 2 years experience of working in
    the relevant field in a University/Institute/Council or any other organization of repute.
    (iii) Knowledge of
    computers.
    (iv) Experience in working in
    rural areas especially with women groups.

    GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

    1. The prescribed essential qualifications are minimum and mere
    fulfilling higher qualification does not entail a candidate to be called
    for written test/interview. Where the number of applications received
    in response to the advertisement is large and it will not be convenient
    or possible for the Institute to call all those candidates for written
    test/practical test/interview, the Director, DRWA reserves the right to
    fix the criteria for calling the candidates on the basis of qualification,
    experience etc. After screening the applications, the candidates will
    be called for written test/practical test and interview.
    2. Age limit is 18-35 years and relaxable for PH/XSM as per rules. No
    upper age limit for regular ICAR employees.
    3. These posts are non-government under the Indian Council of
    Agricultural Research, which will be governed by New Pension
    Scheme 2004 introduced by Govt. of India with other service
    conditions mutatis-mutandis and as amended from time to time.
    4. All posts are temporary but likely to continue. Candidates must
    ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility conditions for these posts with
    regard to qualifications and age.
    5. Persons already in employment should route their application
    through proper channel.
    6. No correspondence will be entertained from any candidates for
    selection/test/interview/ appointment. Canvassing in any form will be
    treated as disqualification.
    7. Candidates are advised to send attested copies of each certificate
    or any other authentic document in support of their age along with
    mark-sheets and other caste certificates etc. with their applications.
    8. The application should be submitted to the Assistant Administrative
    Officer, Directorate of Research on Women in Agriculture, Opp.
    Kalinga Studio, Baramunda Post, Bhubaneswar 751 003 (Orissa) on or
    before 25-08-2010
    in the prescribed proforma, type-written.
    9. Application which are incomplete or defective or with unsigned
    declaration or without attested copies of their certificates i.e.,
    without proof of qualification, age and caste certificate shall be
    summarily rejected. No representation or correspondence regarding
    such rejection shall be entertained under any circumstances.
    10. The envelop containing the application form should superscribe as
    Application for the post of T-3 (Field / Farm Technician)”.
    11. The selected candidates will be posted at DRWA, Bhubaneswar.
    However, appointee will be liable to serve in any Centre (s) of DRWA
    or any Institute(s) of ICAR located anywhere in India.
    12. Application received after due date for any reason including postal
    delay will be rejected.
    13. The Director, DRWA reserves the right to increase or decrease the
    number of vacancies, change any of the conditions, change the
    dates of tests/interview and reject any or all applications without
    assigning any reason thereof, whatsoever.
    14. All the dispute/litigation, if any, will be subject to Bhubaneswar
    jurisdiction only.
