ADVERTISEMENT
Applications in standard format are invited from eligible
candidates for filling up of 2 (two) posts of Political Interpreter Grade -
III under the establishment of the Deputy Commissioner, Upper Siang
District.

1. Pay Band & Grade Pay/Pay Scale: PB-1, Rs. 5200-20200,
Grade Pay Rs. 1900, P.M.

2. Qualification:
A person must possess quality of leadership, have very clean
image, with strong moral character and influential leader in his own
area with an excellent personality. He should also posses very clean
knowledge about the traditional laws and customary practices of the
area and be able to write Roman script and express in Hindi.

3. Age Limit - The candidates should be between 25 to 40 years as
on 01-07-2010. Age limit relaxation as provided in rule shall
apply.

4. Application must be accompanied by:
a) 2 (two) copies of recent passport size photographs duly attested
by gazetted officer on the back side of the photos.
b) Attested copies of certificates in support of educational
qualification, age, STC, PRC, experience, etc.
c) Paid up treasury challan of Rs. 50/- being non-refundable
application fees deposited under Head of Account "0070" OAS in
favour of the Deputy Commissioner, Upper Siang District,
Yingkiong.

5. Method of recruitment- Direct recruitment on the basis of
merit adjudged through interview. The Interview will be held on
09/09/10 at 0900 hours in DC Office, Yingkiong.
No separate Call Letter shall be issued. Candidates shall have to
produce all documents in original at the time of interview. Failure to
produce original documents at the time of interview will entail
rejection of candidature/ applications.
Last date of receipt of applications is 16/08/2010 up to 1630 hr.
and applications received thereafter will not be entertained. The
envelope should be duly super scribed with "APPLICATION FOR THE
POST OF POLITICAL INTERPRETER GRADE-III" and addressed to the
Deputy Commissioner, Yingkiong.
Candidates already in Govt. Service or private employment must
apply through proper channel. No TA/ DA will be admissible to the
candidates for appearing in the Interview. Canvassing directly or
indirectly will entail disqualification. The candidates selected shall
have to serve anywhere in the district as may be required in the
interest of public service. No portion of the application form shall be
left blank. Incomplete applications shall summarily be rejected.
