    Sub: Recruitment for the post of Instructors at IITTM-NIWS, Goa.
    Applications are solicited from eligible individuals for two (2) positions of Instructors of Water
    Sports at IITTM’s- NIWS, Goa centre for Life Saving Techniques and related subject/ Power Boat
    Handling and related subject. Appointment will be made for a period of one year. Incumbents
    will be expected to impart training in water sports in projects and workshops organised by
    IITTM- Goa Centre (NIWS). Walk-in-interviews are scheduled for Friday, August 13, 2010 at
    IITTM Goa Centre (National Institute of Water Sports), at 10.00 am. No TA/DA will be admissible
    for attending the interview. Please fill and bring along the attached application form.

    Terms and conditions
    Eligibility
    A graduate in any discipline from an approved university OR graduation equivalency certificate
    issues by Defence agencies to their personal will be treated at par.
    (i) Certification in Powerboat Handling/ OBM maintenance/ Jet Ski or its equivalent from a
    government body/ govt. approved body of repute (National/ international). OR
    (ii) Certification in Life Saving Techniques from a government body/ govt. approved body of
    repute (National/ international). OR
    (iii) Retired persons from Indian Navy preferably as Marine Commando (MARCOS) with
    proficiency in Life Saving Techniques.

    Experience
    Minimum three years of experience in training, of which, at least one year should have been
    spent as Instructor in water sports.

    Desirable qualification
    (i) Good oral & written communication in English and Hindi
    (ii) Proficiency in computer operations
    (iii) Proven record of training in leisure-based water sports.

    Duration
    Tenure for approximately one year.

    Remuneration
    Rs. 20,000/- per month (Fixed) (without any allowance & CPF contribution)

    Terms and Conditions
    Training and Teaching/ other related assignments

    Leave
    One Casual Leave per month.

    Termination
    Institute shall have the right to discontinue without assigning any reason.
