Reports To : Marketing Manager
1. Job Description / Position Purpose :
• Would be responsible for co-ordination with suppliers for introduction new products for New Segments, at new and existing customers. Arranging seminars and technical training to customers in co-ordination with Suppliers. Will also be responsible for partial inventory management.
• Product knowledge on semiconductors (Ics, Microcontrollers, Discretes, Memories etc ) is a must.
• Would be required to be a link between the Sales force with-in the organisation, and external suppliers (component related).
2. Responsibilities :
• Will be responsible for handling Suppliers independently, clearly focusing on delivering top class value added services to Suppliers and Internal Avnet Sales and Application team.
• Independently co-ordinate pricing initiative with Suppliers, Sales team & customers.
• Will be responsible for building excellent relationships with the Suppliers being handled, and ensure their expectations are surpassed by maintaining a high standard of interaction with them and ensuring consistency in deliverance.
3. Skills and Knowledge :
• Should be from the Electronic component distribution Industry or component manufacturers.
• Should be well versed in basic selling marketing and have the ability to think strategically and prioritize.
• Should have handled big accounts independently, and successfully.
• Experience in the Component Distribution Industry is preferred.
4. Team :
• Should be self-motivated, with excellent communication skills, and a team player.
• Would be part of a Product Marketing Team.
5. Qualifications :
Must be an engineering graduate in the field of either Electrical & Electronics or Electronics & Communication
