National Automotive Testing and R&D Infrastructure Project (NATRiP), the largest and one of the most significant initiatives in Automotive sector so far, represents a unique joining of hands between the Government of India, a number of State Governments and Indian Automotive Industry to create a state of the art Testing, Validation and R&D infrastructure in the country.


The Project aims at creating core global competencies in Automotive sector in India and facilitate seamless integration of Indian Automotive industry with the world as also to position the country prominently on the global automotive map.

Designation : Engineers
Department : Accident Data Analysis
Job Responsibilities :
1. Accuracy of test as per regulations.
2. Use electrical and mechanical knowledge to design and implement emission test.
3. Follow procedures to ensure high up time on the machines and equipments of the lab.
4. Ensure strict adherence to CSC in terms of test scheduling and execution.
5. Following strict safety norms as prescribed by the safety team.
6. Handling a defined range of activities within a functional area.
7. Supporting the key functionaries in the concerned department to realize the overall objectives of the department.
8. Any other work assigned from time to time.
Required Qualification :
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical/ Automobile engineering or diploma in Engineering (Mechanical) with good academic record from a reputed university/ institution
- MBA from a reputed institute (Desired)
Required Experience :
1. Should have an experience of 2-5 years.
2. Should have knowledge on regulations (Indian/International/customized) and development of standards.
3. Experience in automotive industry in atleast 2 of the following areas :
a. Passenger vehicles
b. 2/3 stroke vehicles
c. Commercial vehicles
d. HD engine
e. LD engine
4. Should have experience of product development and root cause analysis.
5. Should have operational knowledge of CAD AND CAE software
Required Skills :
1. Should have worked on dedicated projects (LD Engine, HD Engine, vehicle test cell) CAD and CAE related applications.
2. Excellent team builder and team player
3. Excellent analytical, planning and execution skills
4. Understanding Organizational priorities
5. Customer focus
6. Analytical bent of mind
