Applications in the prescribed form are invited from eligible candidates for filling up the following posts at National Science Centre, Delhi(NSCD) as per details given below:-
1. Exhibition Assistant ‘A’
One (Gen)
PB-1 Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 2800/- (The present emoluments at start Rs. 20,904/- p.m.)
4/5 Years Degree in Fine/Commercial Art from recognized University. One year relevant experience after Degree.

2 Technical Assistant ‘A’ (Electronics)
One (Reserved for OBC)
PB-1 Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 2800/- (The present emoluments at start Rs. 20,904/- p.m.)
3 years Diploma course in Electronics Engineering from a duly recognized Institution. One year relevant experience after diploma.

3. Junior Stenographer (English)
One (Gen)
PB-1 Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade Pay of Rs.2400/- (The present emoluments at start Rs. 18,512/- p.m.)
Matriculation or equivalent with 80/40 w.p.m. speed in English shorthand/typewriting respectively. Desirable:- knowledge of computer operation and Hindi typewriting.

4. Cataloguer ‘A’
One (Reserved for OBC)
PB-1 Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 1900 (The present emoluments at start Rs. 13,565/- p.m.)
Certificate of Librarianship of at least one year duration after Matriculation/SSLC. One year relevant experience.

5. Technician ‘A’ (Carpenter) (On Ad-hoc basis for one year)
1 No. (Gen)
PB-1 Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 1900 (The present emoluments at start Rs. 13,565/- p.m.)
Matriculation plus 2 years certificate course in the Carpenter trade from I.T.I. or any recognized educational institution with one year relevant experience after obtaining the I.T.I. certificate. If the I.T.I. course is less than2 years, 2 years relevant experience after obtaining the certificate is essential.

6. Technician ‘A’ (Painter)
(On Ad-hoc basis for one year)
1 No. (OBC)
PB-1 Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 1900 (The present emoluments at start Rs. 13,565/- p.m.)
Matriculation plus 2 years certificate course in the Painter trade from I.T.I. or any recognized educational institution with one year relevant experience after obtaining the I.T.I. certificate. If the I.T.I. course is less than2 years, 2 years relevant experience after obtaining the certificate is essential.

General Terms & Conditions: In addition to pay, the above posts carry usual allowances as admissible to the Central Govt. Employees. For posts at Sl.No.1 & 2 the completed application shall be accompanied by crossed Demand Draft of Rs.25/- drawn in favour of “National Science Centre”, payable at New Delhi. For the post at Sl. No. 3 age should not be more than 30 years as on 01/08/2010 unless already in Council Service on regular/adhoc/contract basis. Post at Sl.No.5 & 6 are on adhoc basis for one year but appointment made against these posts may be terminated even earlier or may be continued beyond the period of one year. Completed applications along with attested copies of testimonials should reach this office latest by 28/08/2010. Prescribed application form and other details may be obtained from this office either in person or by sending a self addressed envelope of size 25 cms. X 10 cms. duly stamped for Rs.10/- superscribing on the top ‘Application form for the post of “________________________” before 18/08/2010. Semi Govt., Public Sector Undertaking and autonomous organizations must apply through proper channel. Canvassing in any form and/or bringing in any influence, political or otherwise, will be treated as a disqualification. Personal/ interim enquiries will not be entertained. Although the posts advertised are for National Science Centre, Delhi, the selected candidates may be placed/posted in any of the NCSM units in India.
