Applications in the prescribed form is invited from the eligible candidates to fill the one vacant posts of Stenographer Grade-III in the Pay Band (PB-I) Rs.5200-20200 + G.P. Rs.2400 through Direct Recruitment at National Centre for Agricultural Economics and Policy Research, New Delhi. The age limit is 18-27 years (the upper age is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC as per the Govt. of India rules). The upper age is also relaxable upto 45 years in the case of serving regular employees of ICAR in the administrative (ministerial) category. The qualification for the post of Stenographer Grade-III is as under:

Stenographer Grade-III one (unreserved)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation and knowledge of computer
Professional efficiency:
The candidates have to qualify first the written examination in different subjects (i) General English (ii) Essay (iii) General Knowledge. The candidates will be given one dictation test in English at 80 w.p.m. for 10 minutes and required to transcribe the matter in 65 minutes on manual typewriter or 50 minutes on computer.

General Instructions:-
1. The age of the candidate will be counted on closing date of receipt of applications.

2. The selected candidate is governed under the “New defined Contributory Scheme” and governed by ICAR Rules applicable from time to time. The appointment will be temporary but likely to continue.

3. Those already in Govt. Service should send their application through proper channel.

5. Applications should be submitted strictly in the prescribed proforma, neatly typewritten/computer types. Application without photograph will not be considered. 6. Only short listed candidates will be called for written test and shorthand test
