HIGH COURT OF ANDHRA PRADESH:: HYDERABAD

EMPLOYMENT NOTIFICATION No.03 /2010/Estt.

Applications are invited for filling up of 38 posts of Typists/Copyists, carrying the time scale of pay of Rs.8440-24950, in the A.P. High Court Service, by direct recruitment, as specified below:

QUALIFICATIONS:
(i) Must have passed the Intermediate examination conducted by the A.P. State Board of Intermediate Education or must possess any other equivalent qualification; and
(ii) Must have passed the Government Technical examination in Typewriting by Higher Grade in English, conducted by the State Board of Technical Education of Andhra Pradesh Government or any other equivalent qualification.

Preference will be given to candidates, possessing diploma/degree in computers, from the institutions recognized by the State or Central Government.

The candidates should possess all the requisite qualifications as indicated above, as on the date of notification.

AGE LIMIT :
Must have completed the age of 18 years and must not have completed the age of 34 years as on 01.07.2010. The upper age limit prescribed above is relaxable upto 5 years to the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Classes and upto 10 years in case of physically handicapped candidates.

SELECTION PROCESS:
The selection process will be on the basis of merit evaluated by a test in Typewriting in English (45 w.p.m.) and followed by oral interview, for 80 and 20 marks respectively.

APPLICATION & OTHER INFORMATION:
The Application, Hall Tickets in duplicate and the instructions and information as detailed below can also be down loaded from the High Court Web site http://hc.ap.nic.in, from 06.08.2010.
The application and Hall Tickets (in duplicate)in the proforma must sent along with:
1) Three latest passport size photographs, one photograph to be pasted on the application at the right top corner, and two other photographs to be pasted on the Hall Tickets (in duplicate). All the three photographs shall be attested by a Gazetted Officer of State or Central Government.
2) Attested copies of academic and technical qualifications, etc., Viz., 1) Date of Birth (S.S.C. or equivalent) 2) Intermediate examination 3) Typewriting Higher Grade in English 4) Community Certificate (in case of SCs, STs and BCs) 5) Certificate of Physical disability (in case of the physically handicapped candidates), 6) Self addressed envelop.
3) The applications duly filled in along with the above enclosures should be sent by superscribing on the envelop as ‘Application for the post of Typist/Copyist’ to the Registrar (Administration), High Court of A.P., Hyderabad – 500 066, on or before 23-8-2010, by 5 p.m.

The in-complete applications and applications received without required enclosures will summarily be rejected and applications received after the due date, for any reason, will not be entertained.
Information will be sent to all the eligible applicants about the date and time of Typewriting test to be conducted. Test will be conducted at A.P. High Court, Hyderabad .

The eligible candidates have to come, along with their own Typewriters for the typing test to be conducted by the High Court.
The High Court also reserves the right to shortlist the candidates, from the list of eligible candidates, basing on the additional qualifications and computer skills, possessed by them.

The vacancy position as mentioned in the notification may be enhanced or reduced as per the requirement of the High Court and the High Court reserves the right for such enhancement or reduction.
No T.A. and D.A. will be paid to any of the candidates appearing for written test/oral test
