‘RECRUITMENT OF CT/DVR IN C.R.P.F.’
Recruitment for the post of Constable/Driver on all India basis will be
carried out at Group Centre, CRPF Campus, Bharani, Bilaspur (Chhatisgarh ) for
Male candidates only wef 30/08/2010.

The vacancies, which may be changed later due to administrative
reasons, are as under:
CT/Dvr 93 posts

Schedule:
30/08/2010 from 0800 to 1700 hrs for registration of candidates & issue of registration slip

02. The Pay Scale for the above post is PB-1Rs. 5200-20200 and Grade pay
Rs. 2000/- pm

03 Other allowances: As admissible to Central Govt employees from time
to time, under the rules.

04. Place of duty: Any where i.e. within as well as outside the Territory of
India.

05. There is no restriction of domiciliary status for recruitment of above
posts.

06. The recruitment is on All India Basis.

07. New Contributory Pension scheme to Central Govt. employees which
has come into effect from 01/01/2004, will be applicable to all selected
candidates.

08. ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS FOR RE EMPLOYMENT OF
EX- SERVICEMEN:-

For the Ex-servicemen (they being trained soldiers) only written
and medical fitness tests to ascertain their medical category will only be
conducted. As per Govt order total relaxation in prescribed physical
standards and the education is admissible to them. No PET is required
for Ex-servicemen. Others conditions are as under:-
A) Ex-servicemen means a person, who has served in any rank
whether as a combatant or non-combatant in the Army, Navy
and Air Force of the Indian Union but does not include a person
who has served in the Defence Security Corps, the Central
Reserve Engineering Force, the Lok-Sahayak Sewa and the Para
Military Forces and,
i)Who has retired from such service after earning his pension: or
ii) Who has been released, otherwise than on his own
request from such service as a result of reduction in
establishment: or
iii) Who has been released from Service after completing the
specific period of engagement otherwise than at his own
request or by way of dismissal or discharge on account of
misconduct or inefficiency and has been given gratuity
and includes personnel of the Territorial Army of the
following Categories namely :
a) Pension holders or continuous (embodied) service
b) Gallantry award winners
iv) The Territorial Army personnel who fulfill above
conditions will be treated a Ex-servicemen with effect
from 15/11/1986.
v) The above revised definition of 1986 would be applicable
to those service personnel who are released from service
w.e.f. 01/07/1987.

B) Requirement of above Ex-Servicemen for enlistment for the said
post in CRPF:-
1) Education : Total relaxations

2)
Physical Standard : Total relaxation

3)
Medical standard : Shape – One

4)
Break in Service : Not more than 24 months.

5)
Age limit : Age concession for Ex-servicemen
will be allowed in accordance with the orders issued by the Govt. of
India from time to time and they will be allowed to deduct military
service from their actual age and such resultant age should not
exceed the prescribed age limit by more than 3 years.

6)
Character :Should be exemplary / Very Good / Good

09. Wards (Son) of serving CRPF personnel may also appear in the Rectt
test if so desired accordingly. They should submit blood relation certificate at
Recruitment venue and have to compete with common candidates.

10. E
LIGIBILITY CONDITIONS FOR CT/DVRS ARE AS UNDER :
A) Age: 18–23 years (cut off date for age will be 1st Aug. 2010)
i) Relaxation in upper age limit as under :-
SC/ST - 5 years
OBC - 3 years
ii) 5 years of age relaxation will be granted to the Children and
dependent family members of those who killed in riots of 1984
and in the communal riot of 2002 in Gujrat will be provided in
accordance with Govt. of India, MHA OM No. I-45023/2/ 2007-
Pers-UU dated 12/04/2007, 29/06/07, & 21/09/07 and I-45023/2/
2007-Pers-II dated 26/06/2007 & 21/09/2007. To avail the
relaxation the candidate (i.e.) children/dependent family
members of those who killed in the riots has to produce a
certificate from the concerned district Collector/Magistrate.
iii) 5 Years relaxation in upper agae to the residents of Jammu &
Kashmir State will be provided in accordance with Ministry of
Personnel, Public Grievances & Pension (Department of
Personnel & Training) GOI Notification No. 15012/7/1991-ES-
(D) dated 07/12/2007.

B)
Educational Qualification:
ii) Matriculation or 10th Class Pass from a recognized board.
Technical qualification:
i) The candidates for the post of CT/Dvr should be in possession of
valid MT heavy Driving License (HTV) and should pass the
driving test at the time of recruitment
C) Physical Standards :-
i) Height: - Min. 170 CMS
ii) Weight:-Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.
iii) Chest: - Un – expanded 80 Cms, expanded 85 Cms.
(Minimum expension 5 Cms)
D) Medical Standard:-
a) Eye Sight: Distant Vision:-
Minimum distant vision should be 6/6 & 6/9 of two eyes
without correction i.e. without wearing of glasses.
b) The Candidates must not have knock-knee, flat foot, varicose
vein or squint eyes, colour blind and they should possess high
colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily healthy
and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the
efficient performance of the duties.
E) Relaxation :
i) Height : - The minimum height of candidates falling in the
categories of Garhwalis, Kumaounis. Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas
and candidates belonging to the States of Sikkim, Nagaland,
Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya,
Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir and Leh & Ladakh regions
of J&K will be 165 Cms. The minimum height of all candidates
belonging to Scheduled Tribes will be 162.5 Cms.
ii) Chest :- The minimum chest of male candidates falling in the
categories of Gharwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkahs, Dogras Marathas
and candidates belonging to the States of Sikkim, Nagaland,
Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya,
Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir and Leh & Ladakh regions
of J&K will be 78 Cms (minimum 5 Cms expansion). The
minimum chest for all male candidates belonging to Scheduled
Tribes will be 76 Cms (minimum 5 Cms expension). For
relaxation in height and chest Annexure – III is attached)

SELECTION PROCESS:-
No application is required to be submitted in this regard. The recruitment
shall be on open rally system. Willing/eligible candidates should appear
before the Recruitment Board on the dates and time prescribed above.
Candidates will have to undergo the following test:
STAGE – I
A) HEIGHT BAR
At the very beginning all eligible candidates will be asked to go
through the height bar and thereby, the candidates with lesser height will
be eliminated for participating in the further process of recruitment by
giving rejection slip intimating reason for rejection.
B) 5 KMS RACE
Those candidates who qualify the height bar will be subjected to
5 Kms race to be completed in 24 minutes. The candidate (s) who could not
qualify the prescribed race will be eliminated in the further process of
recruitment.
C) IDENTIFICATION OF CANDIDATE
The Candidates who qualify the 5 Kms race will be examined/
identified by their Photos, thumb impression and any specific identifying
mark in the body will be taken by the concerned recruitment board.
D) SCREENING OF ORIGINAL TESTIMONIAL
Original testimonial/documents are required to be produced by
the candidates and if candidates who failed to produce the requisite
testimonial/ certificates will be eliminated from the recruitment process
and in no case candidates should be allowed provisionally.
E) PHYSICAL MEASUREMENT
The candidates who are found eligible on screening of
testimonials will be screened for height, chest and weight by the B.O.Os.
The candidates who meet the requirement of physical standard will be
allowed to participate in Physical Efficiency Test and candidates who do
not fulfill the laid down physical standard will be eliminated from
participating in the further process of recruitment. Any dispute in
measurement will be settled by the Presiding Officer on the spot whose
order will be final.
F) PHYSICAL EFFICIENCY TEST
Those candidates found fit in physical measurement test will
participate in physical efficiency test consisting of following events, which
will be of qualifying nature:-
i) 11 feet long jump.
ii) 3 ½ feet high jump.

NOTE:
-
i) In the event of High Jump and Long Jump candidates would be
given 3 chances.
ii) A candidate must qualify in the above events. Failure to qualify in
any of the above events of PET will render the candidate
disqualified to appear in subsequent process of the recruitment.
iii) The selection process of a candidates starting from putting the
candidates through height bar till completion of PET will be a
continuous process and candidates qualified in all the selection
process will only be allowed to appear in further process of Rectt
test.
G) TRADE TEST The candidate who qualify in the P.E.T. will be
tested to ascertain in trade/job efficiency by a
Board of Officers.

STAGE-II
WRITTEN EXAMINATION
The candidates who are found proficient in trade will be put
through written test carrying maximum of 100 marks. The written test will
be of 01 hour and 30 Minutes duration and comprise of 2 parts of 50 marks
each. Part – “A” will be objective type consisting of General Knowledge,
Science, Numerical Aptitude and Test of reasoning etc. Part “B” will be a
descriptive type consisting of letter/Essay and questions of general
awareness. The pass mark in written examination is 35% for General
candidates and 33% for SC/ST/OBC.

STAGE-III
MEDICAL EXAMINATION
Candidates making the grade in order of merit based on marks
obtained in written test will be put through detailed medical examination
including chest X ray and Pathological tests to assess their
suitability/fitness for appointment.

APPEAL AGAINST MEDICAL EXAMINATION
When the Candidate declared unfit for appointment in CRPF in detailed
medical examination, the grounds for rejection will be communicated to
him in broad terms by Medical Officer of the recruitment board. The
candidates if not satisfied with the findings of the Medical Officer can
submit an appeal for re-medical examination with a proof of his fitness in
the form of a Medical certificate to the DIGP GC CRPF Bilaspur (C.G) The
medical certificate will not be taken into consideration unless it contains a
note by the medical practitioner concerned to the effect that it has been
given in full knowledge of the fact that the candidate has already been
declared unfit for appointment by a CRPF Medical Officer. For this
purpose, the prescribed Annexure-‘V’ will be provided to candidates at
recruitment centres. The appeal will also not be taken into consideration
unless it contains medical re-examination fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees twenty
five only) through IPO in the name of the DIGP GC CRPF Bilaspur (C.G)
and same should be submitted within 15 days from the date of issue of the
communication in which the findings of the Medical Officer is
communicated to the candidates.

STAGE-IV
DRAWAL OF FINAL MERIT LIST
i) The final selection of the candidate will be made in order of merit in
each category.
ii) The cut off percentage of marks for appointment will be as under:-
General and Ex-servicemen : 35 %
SC/ST/OBC : 33 %
iii) There will not be any interview for this recruitment.

12. The following documents in original should be brought by the candidate at
the time of recruitment:-
i) Matriculation (SSLC) certificate for proof of Educational
qualification and Date of Birth.
ii) SC/ST and OBC certificate, as applicable, issued by the Revenue
Officer not below the rank of Tehsildar which should be on the
format as prescribed in Annexure-I & II respectively.
iii) Original Technical/Trade/Professional and experience
certificates.
iv) Discharge certificate in case of Ex- Servicemen.
v) Other certificates in support of additional qualification i.e. NCC/
Scout & Guides/Sports/ proficiency in computer if any.
vi) Candidates serving in Central Govt./State Govt./Public Sector
Units should apply through proper channel. They should submit
a certificate as per Annexure ‘IV’. They should produce a “No
objectin Certificate” from their employer at the time of
checking of testimonials/documentation failing which their
candidature will be rejected. This is applicable to serving CRPF
personnel also.
vii) Candidates should also produce the relevant certificate in
support of any relaxation they seek in terms of age etc as
mentioned in para-10 (A) (ii) & (iii).
viii) Four recent passport size photographs.

13.
GENERAL CONDITIONS:-
i) Candidates will have to appear for selection/test at their own
expenses and no TA/DA will be admissible. They will also have
to make their own arrangements for stay during recruitment
which may continue for 6 to 7 days. Candidates are advised to
bring their own pen/pencil etc.
ii) The Department will not be responsible for accident/
injuries, if any, sustained during the course of test/recruitment.
iii) Selected candidates on their appointment in CRPF will be
governed by the CRPF Act 1949, CRPF Rules 1955 and other
Central Government Rules and regulations as applicable from
time to time.
iv) All the posts are combatised and are purely temporary but likely
to be continued. Selected candidates are liable to be posted
anywhere in India or outside.
v) Canvassing in any form or bringing outside influence will
automatically disqualify the candidate from appearing in
the test
vi) No prior application is required to be submitted in this regard.
Willing/eligible candidates should appear before the
Recruitment Board at Group Centre, CRPF, Bharani, Bilaspur
(Chhatisgarh)
vii) Vacancies can be altered/changed/increased/decreased due to
administrative reasons.
viii) Domiciliary Status: - On All India basis.
