    Title : BURR CLEANING MACHINE - DESIGNING THE COMPONENTS OF BURR
    CLEANING MACHINES
    Venue : K.L.N. College of Engineering, Madurai
    Period : April 2008
    Software used : Before doing the real time project I had designed my project part in the
    pro\E wildfire 2.0. I had sketched the parts. I had drawn each part separately and assembled them together.

    Description : This equipment is used to clean the unwanted protrusions called
    burrs in the work piece. The idea of this project was obtained from the
    principle of surface grinding. The job moves in three directions,
    whereas the wire brush is in static rotational motion.

    Title : PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF COMBINED REFRIGERATION AND HEAT PUMP

    Software : Before doing the real time project I had designed my project part in the
    AutoCad 2008 for 2D drawing. I had sketched the parts. I had drawn each part separately and assembled them together.

    Description : This project demonstrates the dual purpose of a refrigerator. Here the
    concept of employing the output from one unit as an input to other is used
    The lower deck of a refrigerator is used as an ordinary refrigerator
    while the upper deck (Freezer) is used as heater.

    Software : Before doing the real time project I had designed my project part in the
    pro\E 2001. I had sketched the parts. I had drawn each part separately and assembled them together.

    Description : This project was used to calculate the wind velocity and its display
    in (LCD). The display operates both in AC and DC mode. Since the anemometer developed by me is lightweight, it can also be used as a hand-held device.
