Applications are invited by the Commission for the belowmentioned posts. The last date for receipt of applications in the office of the Commission is 12.08.2010. Casa J.D. Fernandes Stationery Supplier, Printers & Book Binders, Opposite Municipal Garden, Panaji, are authorized to sell the
prescribed application form. The Commission does not takethe responsibility of supplying application forms by post. For detailed information, please see the instructions supplied with the application form @ Rs. 19/- per set). Candidate can also download and use the application form available at GPSC website.

2. Incomplete applications in any manner are liable to berejected summarily by the Commission.

3. The age limit shown against each post is relaxable upto fiveyears for Government servants and the candidates belonging to SC/ST, upto 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC, upto 10 years (15 years for SC/ST and 13 years for OBC) in the upper age limit to blind, deaf-mute and orthopaedically handicapped persons and upto 5 years for children of freedom fighters.

4. In case of non-availability of suitable candidates with theknowledge of Konkani, this requirement may be relaxed incase of below mentioned posts.

5. The Commission will draw a panel of candidates, which willremain valid for a period of one year.

6. Prescribed EQs are minimum & mere possession of samedoes not entitle candidates to be called for interview. Where number of applications received is large the Commission will short list the candidates to be called for interview.

Scale of pay: Rs. 15600-39100 + Rs. 5400/-

Age: Not exceeding 40 years.

Educational & Other Qualifications:-
Essential:
(i) A qualification included in Part I or Part II of theSchedule to the entists Act, 1948 (16 of 1948).
(ii) Post-Graduate qualification in Dentistry i.e. Master of DentalSurgery in concerned speciality/subject from a recognized Institution or equivalent.
(iii) Should be registered with DentalCouncil.
(iv) Three years experience as Registrar/Tutor/SeniorResident/Demonstrator in the concerned Speciality ofDentistry in a recognized Dental College /Medical College with Dental Wing/Dental Institution.
(v) Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable:
(i) One year teaching experience after postgraduation in a recognized institute.
(ii) Knowledge of Marathi.
