VACANCY CIRCULAR
One anticipated vacant post w.e.f. 01 Aug 2010 of Sanitary Inspector is required to be filled in Armed Forces
Headquarters/Inter Services Organizations, Ministry of Defence, New Delhi on absorption/deputation/reemployment
basis as per details given below:-

Classification and Pay Scale Eligibility conditions and Qualification
Group ‘C’, Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial, General Central Service,
Pay Scale : Pay Band 2 (Rs 9300-34800/-) with Grade Pay of Rs 4200/-
Pre-revised Pay Scale : Rs 5000-150-8000

Absorption/deputation basis
Officers under the Central Government :-
(a) (i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis; OR
(ii) With 8 years regular service in posts in the pay scale of Rs 3050-
4590; and
(b) Possessing the following qualifications :-
(i) Matriculation or its equivalent qualification from a recognized
University/Board.
(ii) Sanitary Inspector’s Certificate from a recognized Institution,
(iii) 2 Years experience as Sanitary Inspector in a well reputed
establishment.

Re-employment
The Armed Forces personnel due to retire or who are to be transferred to
reserve within a period of one year and having 5 years’ experience dealing
with sanitation work in Defence Establishment and qualifications prescribed for
direct recruits shall also be considered. Such persons shall be given
deputation terms upto the date on which they are due for release from the
Armed Forces; thereafter they may be continued on re-employment. (Reemployment
upto the age of superannuation for Civil posts).

Note :- The candidates will be initially considered for appointment on deputation only.

2. Job Profile:- Administration supervision and allocation of work of safai karamcharis,
Indenting/collection/issue of material (sanitary), Liaison with NDMC authorities for removing garbage from the
dust bins and keeping roads etc, outside the buildings clean, Liaise with CPWD authorities for cleaning of choked
sewer lines, repair/replacements of sanitary fitting of bathrooms/toilets etc.

3. The period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding
this appointment in the same or some other organization/department of the Central Government shall ordinarily
not exceed three years. The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall be not exceeding 56 years
as on the closing date of receipt of applications. The appointment on deputation shall be governed by the terms
and conditions laid down in Department of Personnel & Training O.M No 2/29/91-Estt(Pay-II) dated 05 Jan 94 as
amended from time to time .

4. It is requested that applications (in duplicate) of the willing and eligible candidates in the Prescribed
Proforma along with attested copies of requisite certificate and complete up-to-date ACR dossiers or photocopies
of last five years ACRs (duly attested by an officer not below the rank of Under Secretary or equivalent) and
Integrity Certificate (duly verified by an officer not below the rank of Deputy Secretary or equivalent) and Cadre
Clearance and Vigilance Clearance of the officials who could be spared in the event of their selection may be
sent so as to reach this office i.e. Office of JS(Trg) & CAO, CAO/R-III, Room No. 174, `E’ Block, Dalhousie Road,
New Delhi-110011 within 60 days of the date of publication of this vacancy circular in Employment News.
Applications received without enclosing educational certificates, late or without the ACRs, Integrity Certificate,
Cadre Clearance and Vigilance Clearance or otherwise found incomplete will not be considered. It must also be
certified that honesty and integrity of the officer is satisfactory and no major/minor penalty has been awarded to
him during the last 10 years. Candidates after applying for the post will subsequently not be allowed to withdraw
their candidature.
