Well-trained and have a wide experience in operations and maintenance of Herrenknecht micro tunneling machine diameter of 800mm, 1000mm and 2600mm in different ground conditions. Pipe jacking operations as follows :
- Responsible to provide setting up of all pipe jacking paraphernalia including thrust block(back wall and eye wall), hydraulic jacks(jacking frame for AVN machines, slider and jacking cylinders for AVND machine), thrust rings, laser guiding system, separation plants , etc.
- To supervise the installations of all relevant cablings(power supply, cutter head supply, feed and slurry pumps, blowers) and piping's (feed and slurry lines) necessary for the jacking operations
- To manage the slurry pipeline as well as treatment system to ensure their optimal use in pipe jacking operations
- To operate the pipe jacking machines utilizing the best way in solving problems by finding solutions based on my own experiences on jacking control parameters and exercising due care to ensure smooth and safe operation
- To supervise the installation and manage the execution of the bentonite lubrication system and high pressure pump throughout the course of pipe jacking
- To coordinate with mechanic/electrician for the troubleshooting and repair of pipe jacking machine and its paraphernalia
- To coordinate with the geotechnical instrumentation (site surveyor) and monitoring to check that jacking operations do not cause undue impact to the surrounding
- To observe workplace safety and health policy and standards implemented on project site
- To record and compile daily jacking data and activities
- To report daily pipe jacking matters to the tunnel manager/site coordinator
